Western Maryland Health System Reviews
Pros – Office environment was professional yet fun. Interventional cardiologists are wonderful physicians both medically and professionally and easy to get along with.
Cons – Gross lack of education for specialized coders. Funding is not readily available for these professionals who need constant update and training in an ever-changing environment. There is not a lot of room for advancement.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay attention to and value your professional coders. Regular education is vital. Give them what they need to succeed. They are KEY players that affect your bottom line. Show appreciation.
