    Pros

    Absolutely nothing. No redeeming qualities here.

    Too many to list. Infantile management across the board.

    Advice to Management

    Stop spending money on non-contributory items (interior painting for an office with no traffic, new windows, constantly upgrading to the latest phone, iPads, Otter Boxes for all the extravagant gizmos, etc.), and ensure that the reps- the ones who butter the bread- have the tools they need to do the job (a computer available every day, the installation equipment for the jobs you want them to sell, proper training in a logical sequence, knowledgeable and AVAILABLE management and supervision...). The middle and upper management are there to schmooze in their clique and couldn't care less about obstacles the company is putting or leaving in place for employees. They insist on basing outcome on a formula when results are specific to so many variables and the system for setting appointments is arbitrarily facilitated in a State in which they don't even do business, so the phone reps send outside reps on wild goose chases or schedule stops so far apart that half your day is wasted. The Regional Salesmonkey is not interested in helping struggling reps- he just dearly LOVES the sound of his own voice and doesn't have the mental wherewithal to pee his own pants without specific directions.

    Pros

    a great company to work for when it was privately owned by sameth family he owned it for 75 yrs gave great bonuses apreciated his employees was treated with respect. the sons only cared about the big payday when they sold the company after he died didnt care about the employees that made their company profitable, not even a thank you or bonus when they sold the company for hundreds of millions of dollars

    work you to death to many accounts to fit into a 8 hr day with travel to each stop not interested in customer but in bottom line only no bonuses christmas parties, a gift certificate for twenty fine dollars for a shoprite turkey at thanksgiving.

    you should treat your employess they way you would want to be treated

    Pros

    I liked being on the road in my territory.

    Cons

    Low salary. Inability for the company to be competitive in a business where there is a ton of competition. Poor management on all levels. Micro-management to the point where it was detrimental, even when you are making quota month after month. Medical benefits were the worst ever experienced. So much more................

    Consult employees before making changes that affect major points of selling.

    Pros

    Top notch training, excellent quality of people and very supportive.

    Cons

    While the service is the best in the industry, the prices are higher than the competition. It is hard to overcome if people are shopping based on price.

    Advice to Management

    Try and figure out some ways to cut down the price to customers.

    good pay and good clients.good training.

    Cons

    managers are not team players or people persons. its not about service since rollins orkin took over. they might as well change the name to orkin like the rest. the nyc branch was great before rollins started using orkin infrastructure,which clearly isnt working and has damaged westerns reputation among customers.the new regional manager is from service master need i say more.they dont want you working overtime but you have to finish all your stops. they write you up for every little thing, like working overtime.if an account cancels they write you up even if it wasnt your fault.every month someone gets fired. better off working for a mom and pop company stay away

    Advice to Management

    respect your technicians they do all the work. the office manager is a bigot and unqualified to manage. you should know theres a problem when a supervisor with 12 years with the company quits because of the management. dont micromanage it doesnt work in this buisness.

    Pros

    A good over all company to work for with a good moral background. This company is now owned buy a larger corporation (Rollins).

    Cons

    The previous branch management I work under lacked follow-through. As with most companies the key to success is good Management. The company’s new Corporations main priority is not on service but growth at all cost.

    Advice to Management

    GOOD Management is the key to any company’s success. Unfortunately most upper management has no idea what characteristics make up a good manager.
