I worked at Westinghouse Digital Electronics full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    I wish there were any.

    Cons

Micromanagement to the extreme. There is little leadership, no accountability by the executive team, only arrogance and ignorance. The products they produce are trash, leaving the employees in the line of fire from angry and disappointed customers waiting 90+ days for another trashed replacement. Just look up their rating on BBB…F. The employee experience matches that grade.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

HR is NOT qualified to manage a customer service or technical support team. Perhaps a new executive staff along with a new HR department can help revive the company, if focus on a solid product line can be achieved.

I have been working at Westinghouse Digital Electronics

    Pros

Great revenue growth, should have allowed for growth - but there is none. Great staff of folks, which really made things happen. Departments worked hard on working together.

    Cons

Little to no senior management. Had chance to be a top player in LCD market, now will either fade away or get bought up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

CEO and President had two different ways of building the company- so, neither worked. Need to have some level of control of costs and pricing.
