Great brands, some nice people, decent compensation and good benefits

    Cons

Only Former Dial Global employees were really treated well. Those that came from Westwood One were not treated fairly.

Low expectations so its good for someone entry level

    Cons

Poor communication, poor planning, unrealistic expectations make for a bad combination. While its a good place to start don't stay too long.

    Pros

Most of the rank and file workers and mid-level managers are great people and great to work with.

    Cons

There is really no room for advancement, raises are virtually non-existant even in good times, sales persons are not the only workers in the company but you wouldnt know that from the way other departments are treated.

    Advice to Management

Given the lack of motivation the company's revolving door of talent will continue resulting in the continuation of lost opportunities. If management ever plans on turning things around they should first look to fix things within the company.

    Pros

Young people, young atmosphere, lots of times to be social

    Cons

No place to move up to, bad pay, stuck in same position forever, horrible bonus, actual appearance of offices are old and in need of new design

    Advice to Management

Offer your employees places to move to, and also why is CEO/CFO so "untouchable" when it comes to having questions and/or concerns?

    Pros

Good people to work with Good mix of co-workers One of the leaders in the industry Personally had a great relationship with management, but wasn't always the case with all workers

    Cons

Management treats sales people better than support staff With new management, they brought all of their people in from a previously failed business Still paying former employees salaries while the workers are getting pay cuts and furloughs Little room for advancement, and none if you do not constantly ask for it with a reason to why you should move up and to what position Very few people have gotten any sort of raise or increase in compensation over the past 2+ years

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like you care about them. It's more than just matching 401K or letting people take loans from it. Everyone took a big hit with the economy, but the scale wasn't completely fair in terms of paycuts. Show the office that you took a bigger hit than they did because bottom line ends with management. It's not the sales assistants fault the company made bad decisions, so why punish them more than yourself? The 5-10% of their salary is a much bigger deal then the 10-15% of yours. Create initiatives and incentives for people to actually make more for doing a good job. People are leaving for more money elsewhere and to work for better companies. Make everyone feel wanted and needed rather than just a cog in the machine.

Amazing opportunity to work with CNN,CBS, NBC and some great programming. Also great connections with radio across the country.

    Cons

Poor management and no bonus plan for sales

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Very Few and only due to union protection. With it selling out to Clear Channel at a fire sale price, you know who got the boot first.

    Cons

    Sold out to Clear Channel.

    Advice to Management

Don't treat your employees like furniture.

    Pros

friendly people who don't mind talking to each other and the hours are pretty balanced, my experience allowed me a lot of leniency in terms of vacation.

    Cons

leadership doesn't care about its employees and they hardly promote from within. They promise growth and training but only care about the bottom dollar and don't mind letting you know that you're working so other people can get rich.

    Advice to Management

change everything, this company is pathetic

    Pros

Working in NYC on a very famous street, the people who work in the lower departments are very nice but don't get paid for how hard they work.

    Cons

The merger with Cumulus ruined this wonderful company. Too many people were fired in the past month due to this merger. The problem with the senior management they take all the credit for the people who work in the lower departments, unfair to people who work twice as hard.
