Top of the fast food chain. Pay and benefits are second to none. Profit sharing is a plus. Will work with you when you need day (s) off for emergencies.

Sometimes you are asked to work overtime.

    Advice to Management

Keep your employees on mind when making hurried last minute decisions.

I worked at White Castle full-time

    Pros

Free food & it was good

    Cons

No set schedule for anyone , I was scheduled from 11pm until 3am ? I'm used to working 8 hour shifts so that did not work for me.

    Pros

    Free food and cool people

    Cons

Some bad and embarrassing experiences, long and inflexible hours

    Advice to Management

Take advantage of team members good skills and abilities instead of trying to create a well rounded worker by always shifting people around into positions they're not good at

    Pros

I loved the environment when I worked at white castle. The staff was awesome too, they pushed for great customer service at all times and efficiency. High energy work ethic is a necessity in order to satisfy customers. Free food and beverages on your break. Great job for high school children, not so much if your attempting to raise a family.

    Cons

Some managers weren't equipped with ability to lead a team. I didn't like that team members weren't able to take food home which is policy for nearly every fast food restaurant.

    Advice to Management

Bring back the 1:00 increase of wages per hour after 10 pm. The workers would enjoy that incentive to work over nights.

I have been working at White Castle part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They work with college school schedules. Pay is weekly.

    Cons

Im not sure where to begin. Number one they force you to work while sick even if you have symptoms that can be signs of something contagious. Even if you try to spare the public and fellow employees by calling into work they refuse to allow you to call in. The training videos on harassment are a joke because the managers tolerate it. Every employee starts out as part time only so don't expect the possibility of insurance for at least 6 months. Be prepared with a bank account because you have to wait for your paycheck to be mailed to you if you don't.

    Advice to Management

If an employee is ill either send them home or allow them to call in.
