Advice to Senior Management
be more aware of the way you run the store. everyone has to start somewhere were not all managers sorry
Pros
My co workers are great. They are like second family. Some of the customers are great. Our regulars are fantastic. We strive to complete goals at our castle. We do our best to keep it clean and make our customers happy.
Cons
There aren't that many downsides to it. We do get some rude customers but that's what all restaurants have to deal with. I think there is some favoring at our castle but it's alright most of the time.
Advice to Senior Management
I think the new changes have gone well. The 30 day training program is really neat. I enjoyed training my first new employee.
Pros
great benifits, good environment, easy work not hard at all.
Cons

Cons

Advice to Senior Management
to teach there managers to work as a team
Pros
I think some of the best reasons for working at White Castle are we have a great managment team and they have respect for their team member. It has been quite an experience for me I enjoy working at White Castle it has been an enjoyable and memorable place to work. We also have some great team members with great attitudes we all have our bad days but we manage to work together and have fun at the same time. The saying is the team that works together stays together and I believe that our castle has done a great job especially because we have such a great general manager who tells us to never give up keep on going because I believe in you.
Cons
There are very few Cons to working at White Castle one of the main problems is that if someone comes in with a bad attitude then the rest of us get a bad attitude and it makes it hard to work together as a team but we have improved and thats what working at white castle is all about.
Advice to Senior Management
Never give up on yourself you guys are doing a wonderful job and I appreciate all you.
Pros
the benefits are pretty good and advancement
Cons
they want you get a doctor statement everytime you call in for being sick and everyone can''t afford to go to the doctor everytime your sick
Advice to Senior Management
listen to the employees better and be more paitent with them
Pros
The benefits were a strong help during my bad situations while working for White Castle. My pay was also extremely helpful. the general manager was supportive during my transition from graduating high school into working full time as a rotating manager.
Cons
The castle manager was very lazy about bad reviews concerning his assistant managers. He didn't want to do paperwork concerning bad behavior, and it took our regional director to do any form of punishment when we had assistant general managers being extremely rude and foul towards customers. Also, some of our Hispanic employees and managers speak nothing but Spanish most of the time, it doesn't help the customers feel like this is a place to eat at.
Advice to Senior Management
When you have managers who are rude and foul to their employees, and especially the customers, you need to have them retrained at the very least. If it's something bad, remove them. It doesn't help your fellow managers who are trying to be good examples of management when you have one or two who rank over them being horrid to everyone in reach. This is mostly for the castles. The higher management, regional and up, I think are doing a great job.
Pros
The best reason to work at White Castle is that the company treat everyone as a family and or as
a team member aside from the very good benefits .
Cons
The only thing that I think about the downside of White Castle is that overtime is very limited
maybe because of the present economic situation.
Advice to Senior Management
The only thing I could advice to the leadership at White Castle is to look closer to the team member
needs.
