Pros
Fairly good starting salary, hours are good, as long as you are full time, the benefits are decent, in store discounts
Cons
Management tends to be lazy, they don't properly train and then complain about people not doing the job properly. They take credit for accomplishment and issue blame for shortcomings.
Advice to Senior Management
They need to remember that management doesn't mean sitting in a chair and watching others work, lead by example and your team will follow proudly.
Pros
Compensation package
Benefits
Sense of Teamwork
Learning environment
Cons
Travel
24-7 mentality of senior leadership
Pros
- Good Benifits
- Great Product Offerings
- Good group of people to work with for the most part.
Cons
- Needs more structure
- Needs more inspiriing, motivating leaders
- Needs store leadership who lead with inspiration and sincere passion for the development of other leaders.
Advice to Senior Management
Spend more time on the floor working and earning respect of others to have a solid knowledge of true day to day operations. Inspire & develop others, recongnize & praise, and show more of a sincere honest compassion as well as care of your team. Help others grow in their position before critizing weaknesses.
Pros
Great benefits, 20 % off discount. This place was great as a student if you are in the retail sector.
Cons
I loved working here but the management play lots of favoritism. In order to get a raise the whole department personnel you work in must do an assessment of you and they compare that to yourself assessment and depending on that you would get a raise. That's is not very fair because people always use personal opinions and not just professional ones.
Advice to Senior Management
They need to be less bias and focus on the work the person is doing rather than if I am best friend with everyone.
Pros
They truly care about thier team members and they allow you to be a part of the decision making process from new hires to products on the shelf.
Cons
In my particualr field (marketing), opportunities for growth in a store are limited. To advance, you need to go to a regoinal level and those positions seldom open.
Pros
Flexibility, coworkers, advancement opportunities, friendly clients
Cons
the pay isn't that great
Pros
Team Members, Benefits, Wages, Work Life balance, Open Door policy
Cons
Leadership communication, training towards promotion, vision
Advice to Senior Management
Walk the Talk ... core values are not avidly lived by most of leadership. Inclusive of store and regional levels.

Cons
Some managers aren't pulling there weight and should be replaced.
