I have been working at Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek
Pros – The compensation is sufficient and the expectations are not outside the realm of any in the legal field. At most times it is a quite pleasant place to work with a great view and many perks.
Cons – The unfriendly class structure between staff, administration and attorney and the occasional bad apples.
Advice to Senior Management – Work to create and promote comradery between all staff.

I worked at Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek
Pros – Is a Large Firm, Well Respected Attorneys, Decent Pay and Benefits, Great Technology, Document management system was top of the line
Cons – The firm really had a disconnect between the management (partners), their expectations, and the work that you were provided with. Clearly there were favorites not based on work product but perhaps location/office you were in. Work was not funnelled evenly and, in this economic climate, that resulted in some attorneys not hitting their numbers due to lack of work rather than lack of effort. Pretty unfair. As a young attorney I had solid origination but not enough to keep myself busy for the billable requirements.
Advice to Senior Management – Make sure there is a mechanism in place to funnel the work to all attorneys. Be fair in distribution of projects espectially with attorneys that have comparable work product.
