    I worked at WilcoHess full-time

    Pros

Ability to advance quickly within the company. Glad they have been sold out now maybe the employees can get paid what their jobs are worth.

    Cons

After advancing upper management will fear for their jobs and throw you under the bus every way possible. Not to mention the pay isn't what their competitors pay

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train, Train, Train your employees well and watch your managers they steal and put it off on the other employees.

I have been working at WilcoHess full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Plenty of room for advancement, great team members and good benefits. Great communication with my dm and team.

    Cons

Long hours often with no help. High turn over rate due to strict company rules. Strict budgets no consistent paperwork regimen I have been told 3 different ways to do my morning paperwork. Company is in the mist of adopting Hess Express rules and infrastructure which can be a little confusing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your gm's and asm's we are in the store more and have some great ideas. We hear the likes and dislikes of our guests on a regular basis. Also we need to eliminate all of the things that dont sell in a faster manner. Bring in merchandise that the customers want and ask ..

    Pros

The pro to working here is you are not a number. You have direct contact with supervisor all the way up to the owner which would speak to you as an equal and will listen to what is said.

    Cons

I really don't have anything negative to say. It has been the best job I have ever had. Will continue to work here as long as they are around.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to keep an open line of communication with the drivers.

I have been working at WilcoHess full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

No pros. This is a very greedy company that only cares about the bottom line. Customers would be the only pro.

    Cons

Pay is low...too low for what this company asks of you. Benefits are terrible and supervisors do not care. I have never been so mistreated as much as I have with this company. Terrible!
