    Great experience but limited growth

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsThis is a fun company to work for, and it is a great stepping stone into the modeling and entertainment industry.

ConsThere isn't much room for growth if you start out low, because it is extremely competitive.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Horrible place to work

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsNot many pros but the office is always filled with models and celebrities which makes for an interesting workplace. Also, free bagels on friday mornings.

ConsMost of the employees have a horrible attitude towards one another and gossip behind each other's backs. Some of them are great but they are few and far between and most of the nice ones work in accounting. No matter how long you work there you are lucky to get a hello from agents or "marketing" team. People here seem to think they are as important as the models they represent. If you are hired as an entry level employee you will be treated like an intern and asked to do mundane tasks. They try to sell you on the Wilhelmina name which you will quickly realize means nothing.

Advice to Senior ManagementWhat upper management? I think the VP comes in once a week....

Sexy and glamourous to say you worked at modeling agency but a disaster in terms of employee satisfaction.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsEmployees rally together when necessary when management mistreats someone.
    Never a dull moment.
There is always energy and buzz in the office due to the amount of talent that come in.

    ConsRecognition or praise never comes.
Raises will never be given unless you threaten to leave.
If you leave for rival agency, you will get sued.
You haven't made it until the President has a curse word laden tirade against you.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
