    Pros

My co workers are all supportive with each other

    Cons

Porr Salary levels for like positions in Metro Boston. Good plcae to train then leave. Some Client excecutives are disrespctful to employees; never a compliment; always belittled. Finally many people overworked which is a known fact but totally ignored by management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

At one time the WGA model weorked but in today's marketplace when you spend ccounting your $$$ and overworking people therer are now valid employment alternatives.

    Pros

Good coworkers, interesting work with up and coming industries (green energies and such), decent benefits and attempts by management to create a community within the company

    Cons

computers and related technology is extremely out of date and often not functioning well, low salaries, workload is incredibly heavy, turnover and burnout is high

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The conservative approach to getting through hard times is understandable - but if you are going to demand the volume of work you are placing on employees, it's vital you give them the tools to allow them to do their jobs.

    Pros

Friendly people, made some good friends. My own manager was very flexible, others aren't as good though. They try to keep staff happy.

    Cons

Some managers far too rigid. Senior management doesn't communicate effectively. REALLY bad time off (for vacations, maternity leave). Really low paying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay your staff market rate.
Senior management needs to let people do their jobs - leave the experts to do what you have hired them to do and don't micro-manage.
Don't promote people just because they have been there a while, promote for talent (especially for people who will be managing others).

    - Salary and Benefits above average
    - Great location

    Cons

-Need to hire more account managers. Over-work the staff they have with client books too big for one person
    - Assistants can be treated unfairly, managers tend to take stress out on them
    - Promotion salary increases low

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Great place to get a start in insurance, but best bet is to take learned skills and move elsewhere for fair workload and salary
