Pros
Simple business model and operations. Small company size allows employees at all levels to be engaged in various aspects of the business and make contributions across functional areas. Experienced manafucturing personnell at the Carthage facility bring a continuity that is invaluable.
Cons
Human resource policies and programs are anti-progressive. While opportunities to contribute in various areas of the business exist, very few opportunities exist to formally advance and change position within the company.
Advice to Senior Management
Adopt a more progressive human capital managment philosophy in order to take advantage of the ideas and skills posed by employees at all levels
