    I worked at Williams-Sonoma full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very much a family within the store. I met some wonderful people and created bonds that I will cherish forever. The hours were not too bad. Typical of a retail outlet. Open Monday - Sunday, close early on Sunday. Everyone is helpful if and when you need it.

    Cons

Pay for management could Go up A tad. Other than that, I had a blast!

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your assistant managers because often they work almost as hard and in some cases just as hard as the GM. They deserve more than $13.00 ph

I have been working at Williams-Sonoma part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

You get 40% off most anything in the store year-round. 20% off electrics. They used to care more about their employees. They are getting back to that again.

    Cons

I love working here. It has been the catalyst for my current job. I have worked here on an off for 10 years so I know the company inside and out. Management structure can be sporadic.

    Advice to Management

Since the loss of Howard the company as a whole but particularly WS has suffered a loss of vision. This vision is not being correctly communicated to anyone in the company.

I have been working at Williams-Sonoma as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly environment, fast-paced, worked with many different departments, mainly independent work. Did a great job having me meet the other interns, scheduled activities for us to do. Everyone seems happy working here

    Cons

Hiring process took an incredibly long time.

    Advice to Management

Wish this would have led to a full-time offer after graduation. No one from our "intern class" received one. More communication/updates in hiring process too.
