I worked at Willis full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The only reason to work at Willis is if you have exhausted every other opportunity, you are trying to hide out from creditors, are ok with working under factory conditions and have no place else to go.

    Cons

A company run by arrogant people that have no idea what they are doing. Their only solution to fixing problems is to cut costs (see April Bloomberg report). You would think that life would be better post Plumeri. Current employees are irrepreably tarnishing their careers by staying employed at Willis.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too broken to fix. You cant solve every problem by cutting costs, layiing off people and moving the jobs to India.

I worked at Willis full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Got a lot of experience - trial by fire.
Some good people who want to see people grow.
    Some great clients.

    Cons

Unmanageable workload, too many systems, low pay, raises and bonuses went to the "favorites" who didn't earn them. Prefer to hire from outside rather than promote from within.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just because you hit your numbers, doesn't mean that the team doesn't need to be cleaned.

The timings are really great you get a whole day left for yourself and a pretty good morning wake up habit
