    Pros

    They have good corporate benefits

    Cons

Corporate politics... Best people do not always get promoted. They make decisions by 15-30 minute interviews with no feedback from management or accomplishments.

    Advice to Management

Pay close attention to supervisors... Do they really do their job and know what they are doing or just getting a pay check?

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Ability to work from a remote location

    Cons

Immature management, gossip, office politics ruin any chance for a positive experience. Too many layers of management, so the real achievers get no recognition, or even worse, take blame for management mistakes.

    Advice to Management

Investigate who is really doing what.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The office is conveniently located in Chicago. Time Off policy is generous with vacation days, sick days and holidays.

    Cons

Layoffs are rampant. New CEO is trying to achieve numbers that are not attainable. Current employees forced to do extra work for no salary increase or bonus Bonus is completely discretionary- even when you meet your numbers Willis does not pay out a bonus Politics are huge and preferential treatment is shown to certain individuals regardless of their competence No budget for professional development, conferences, licenses etc.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees. Top companies recognize that human capital is their most important asset. It is unreasonable to expect employees to stay when you are not willing to invest in their development or keep their total compensation package competitive with the market place. Layoffs should be a last resort rather than a knee jerk reaction to meet short term earning objectives.
