I worked at Wilmette Park District part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Beautiful gym and facility, huge programs. Established enrollment.

    Cons

deplorable pay considering the success of the programs and the park district over all. Revolving door for staff

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your teachers well, consider that most permanant part time coaches are usually exceptional, consistant, long-term adult employees so they should be paid well, especially, if your program is successful.

I worked at Wilmette Park District

    Pros

There are friendly people there. When you are having a rough day, it is nice to be able to tun to nice, experienced people who will always have your back. It also makes the time fly by much, much more quickly. If those ar important things to you, then this is the place to be.

    Cons

The hours are long. The jobs are boring. There is not a lot of intellectual stimulation to be had with these jobs, but it is a nice summer job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be more team-building activities - just kidding.
