I have been working at WinCup full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Get very close to the executives and learn to say what they want to hear and you will have a better life than the rest of the staff. There is a better life after WinCup.

    Cons

Turnover is extremely high, especially in the accounting department. Current CFO does not care about staff only about 6 figure bonuses for executives. Staff do not receive bonuses or have gotten raises in more than 5 years. Current CFO does not talk to his staff and doesn't even know their names. A lot of company politics and back stabbing and great people get let go for no reason. When people leave, their workload just gets dumped on the remaining staff or contractors that don't know what they are doing. Systems are more than 25 years old and there is never money left over for upgrades. Morale is low and everyone looking for a new job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Care about your staff. Talk to them, know them by name and at least pretend that you care about them. They are the ones holding up the company and working hard around crappy and antiquated systems. Do something for the morale and stop the turnover of great people.

Worst and most unprofessional Accounting and HR management that I have ever worked with.

Former Employee - Accounting in Atlanta, GA

I worked at WinCup full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

There are no best, morale is low and only the desperate hang around

    Cons

Poor management skills from the top down. Thee business practices are as ancient as the software systems. No room for change or growth. Management is more interested in their large bonus checks that updating the systems into the 21st century. Awful, just awful place to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look past today and into the future, the bonuses will cease unless changes are made towards employees and company overall wellbeing.

    Pros

I cannot think of any pros that come to mind unless if office politics is considered a Pro then this is the place for you.

    Cons

Poor SENIOR sales leadership, micro management, lies, deceit, backstabbing.
Leadership only has one way of doing things which is their way or no way. They live in their own little glass house and can do no wrong. When things go right they take the credit. when something goes wrong they place the blame elsewhere.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should practice what they demand when it comes to respecting others

I worked at WinCup (less than a year)

    Pros

The best thing about WinCup was waking up the day after my last day there and realizing I never had to go back!

    Cons

The best way to describe it is, if you are happy and efficient you will not fit into their culture. Dishonesty and back-stabbing is the M.O.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat people like people. You do not own them.

I have been working at WinCup full-time

    Pros

New CEO, new CFO, new VP of Finance - there has been a lot of turnover in the past couple of months. The new people are awesome. They really seem to care about the staff and wanting to make it a better place. Work life balance is getting better. Senior management is investing in upgrading and renovating facilities. Business seems to be doing great.

    Cons

There is still a lot to do to turn things around.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't give up. You are doing great. Morale is getting better every day.

I have been working at WinCup full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

I have not seen any real pros in working for WinCup.

Corporate offices and restrooms have been upgraded although for senior management.

    Cons

Company does not really care about their employees who are the horses that that pull the cart everyday.

Hiring practice is friendships over actual talent.

Old failed ideas always being promoted to new ownership (unknown to them)

No raises since I have been here, while upper management receives 6 figure bonuses yearly

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start to care about your employees and put the correct people in the correct position.
Stop giving the VP so much latitude in the decision making which has hurt the company.

    I worked at WinCup

    Pros

This company has potential with the right management

    Cons

Very hot in summer. Management only cares about the bottom line. No real communication from management and feed back not listened too. Safety only important if it doesnt cost too much

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat this company like it has a future rather than someplace you want to sell. Act like you appreciate your employees.

    I worked at WinCup

    Pros

there are no good reasons to work for wincup. Benefits were cut, wages frozen for the last three years, last year no more than two weeks vacation granted to all employees, what can I say, everything about wincup sucks. Still in chapter 7 reorganisation as I write.

    Cons

No personal time off or unpaid time can be granted. No promotion avenues at all, no communication between management and staff or even between the branches or departments. Ad hoc trial of strategies which if they dont work are dumped without any communication to the parties involved. it just goes on and on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Two words. Communicate and at least reward your employees. Or pay them what they are due. No raises for THREE YEARS! Yet the management as I understood still got their year end bonuses.
