Cons
The work can be a little tedious.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep doing what your doing.
Pros
If you're in the right position earning potential is unlimited
Cons
the goal of the Company is to pay as little as possible
Advice to Senior Management
Management is great for the most part, good things are happening and there is hope for the future
Pros
Good People who are easy to work with. Challenging Exciting.
Cons
NO retirement, No incentive to move up, no tact when letting folks go, no severance pay, very greedy.
Advice to Senior Management
Remember your employees are people.
Pros
Peers and people to work with are great, schedule can be somewhat flexible and pay can be above average for the industry. Good sales people and hard workers can be very successful but only as company owners after investing substantial money into the company. The corporate office is in a good location with easy access.
Cons
Virtually no opportunities for promotions, no pay raises in 4 years, and very poor health benefits. There is no retirement package available and only people-in-the know are being promoted. Many middle managers have been hired in the last few years slowing down progress, with micro-management becoming a problem. The environment can become quite vicious, a stick rather than carrot approach.
Advice to Senior Management
Consider existing employees for promotions before hiring outsiders. Too many overpaid middle managers who are not being held accountable at all for failing to deliver. The 70s and 80s approach to managing employees is outdated and does not give employees confidence and pleasure about working there. Try to relate to your employees as genuine human beings rather than mere workhorses.
Pros
Nice people to work with. There is a family feeling to the organization because each local company is relatively small. The local company management is very respectful of employees.
Cons
Not much room for advancement unless you want to own a company. You have to invest a substantial amount to buy into a company. There is no 401k retirement plan.
Advice to Senior Management
Build a better benefits package with a retirement fund.
Pros
Good bosses, good co-workers. Not alot of micro managing. Overall a friendly and good work environment.
Cons
No way of moving up without having your own company. Hard to get your own company. No 401k or retiremnt.
Advice to Senior Management
Offer some sort of retirement package.
