    Pros

Windermere has the best reputation of any real estate company in the Seattle area. Just working here gives you instant credibility as an agent. The splits are on the higher end compared to other companies but it is worth it with the training and support you receive. Everyone I work with is very professional, and management is very supportive. Upper management is good at creating a culture of success.

    Cons

Splits are high, and technology is lagging a bit. Windermere already has the reputation, if the technology website etc.. was at par with the rest of the company it would be all over.

    Advice to Management

Work on technology and website and listen to brokers constructive criticism. The best agents in Seattle work for Windermere they have good ideas.

    Pros

Wonderful people, great environment and an overall nice place to work. The company provides a great deal of services to their agents and takes good care of their employees.

    Cons

This can be a tough field to break into if you are new and sometimes it can be hard to get recognized.

    Pros

Great training, lots of programs dealing with new construction, luxury homes and most other topics. I have worked for other real estate and they are the best.

    Cons

Not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but great value for what you get.

    Advice to Management

    Don't nickle and dime agents.

    Pros

Great income potential after a steep learning curve. Total freedom. Your success is based on your own personal talent and efforts. The company has a brand and image noted for integrity, especially relative to the competition. A local company respected by the community. A clear market share leader.

    Cons

Allow at least 2 years to ramp up your business. Lots of start up costs and a steep learning curve. If you are new to the industry make sure you find an office with a solid training and mentoring program, it is needed.

    Advice to Management

Develop more national programs to capture the REO type of market and fairly feed that business to the agents.

    Pros

Training, Technology, the people, perks. The agents are great to work with, I made a lot of friends and saw a lot of them come and go. The office environment allows for learning new things, from legal regulations to contracts and local information.

    Cons

Some of the upper management's attitudes towards staff

    Advice to Management

Provide more training for staff in new roll-outs of programs or tech tools, before it rolls out.

    Pros

    Great PR company
A wonderful reputation in the industry and with the public
Large network of office across the west

    Cons

Office staff is not often paid well
Technology is behind times, and what is offered is limited- example new email system is not a fully functioning office product, hard to research for tips and help when not all features are available.
They put a lot of chickens in the Moxi Works basket-- should spread the tech update wealth around
