    Pros

    Friendly staff, great team work, great open door policy, family like environment. Very flexable work hours. Works with most schedules and time off requests

    Cons

    Salary is sometimes not competitive, however there are annual raises and benefits offered. Not must to add because it is a great place to work.

    Pros

    I have been promised a promotion since the day I started. They even went as far as to create a job title with a job description and then turned around and said they are only required to have one manager so they are not going ahead with my position.

    Keep the promises made to your staff. Do not treat them like they are expendable because they will not stay working for you. Have some integrity when running a business. It is poor business ethics to make a proposal then take it back.

    Discounted room rates when traveling.

    Low pay!! Overworked. You are expected to work like a slave. I mean literally, you aren't given a lunch or any breaks through out your shift. Guests are continuously complaining about the hotel. You are required to check in more than 30-40 guests and accommodate to the many complaints guests make and answer phones for reservations, which happens more than you think. The computer system is also buggy, which can be partly due to the way management set up the rooms and such. Co- worker are rude and have ghetto attitudes. It's wasn't a friendly place to work at.

    Management is ridiculous and poorly staffed. New hires, who lack experience, are promoted. It's just a matter of who the manager becomes close friends with rather than promoting people practically by skill and experience. It's just politics.

    Pros

    It's a nice average hotel to gain experience in. The guests are pleasant, and you get the amount of hours you need/ want.

    Cons

    The management is disgusting. They micromanage, belittle employees, and never take the blame for anything. The pay is somewhat decent but you are way overworked. The communication amongst the staff is awful and you're clueless as to what's going on upon arrival for your shift. So many people quit in such short time, including myself.

    The hotel just needs new management. There's nothing you can do to improve them.

    It is work. Not a difficult job.

    Cons

    The manager hired several family members and they all form this "clique." Threats of termination if you do not come in even when not on call, even when you "always" come in. Promises of advancement never come to fruition. Low pay with no raises.

    Please pay attention to the activities and behind-the-door policies of your store managers, hiring family and other unethical behavior carrying on at this location. Offer better paths of communication between upper management and lower scale employees.

    Listen to your staff , give them a chance to express their opinions. Evaluate your staff annually and give them a raise.
