Pros
1. knowledge wise best materials in knet to empower yourself to market standard, compairing to other Indian companies .
2. Great Campus, Infrastructure, world class zym & facilities.
3.if you are a person passionate about technology , wipro is the right place for you !!..But at the end of the day ,one need to have food to survive & the gas price is 850 in BLR :-).
Cons
1.It all about Manager you work under. i have spent 3 years in wipro worked under 3 project managers. Come across the best (Current) & the worst (just earlier) some one can ever dream. The worst one used to treat employee like his servant at home. Considers as “ parasite” if your UCF is not cleared. Seen people received literally 0% hike with having 4+, 7+ years experience & NI(Need improvement ) appraisal ratings. Were counting last few days to be fired off .with having good product & application knowledge.
Unfortunately Mr. “X”- perayil who couldn’t clear his own UCF & belit , used to give expert comment to appraisal rating.
Was the root cause of around 15 people left the organization. Everyone lough about his funny technical skill but no one could speak out.
2. Most of the To NOBODY SAYS ANYTHING AS BECAUSE THEY KNOW HR will inform manager the same & he/she will be next at GUN point get NEED IMPROVEMENT.
That’s what happens in wipro !!!
After readung this >you all might be thinking then> why this guy is not moving !!! logical> answer is : you are right: i am in Notice period
Advice to Senior Management
I love this organization & feel proud to be a wiproite: Few things we can look at seriously are the Following:
1. Make the salary according to market standard, know it’s very tough but some initiative can decrease attrition rate which was upto 17% few days back even. Knowledgeable & experienced work force is the backbone to the success of a organization
2.There should be a (secret) rating from employee to their manager also to judge whether the person rating him at appraisal is eligible enough .Mostly HR are puppet & manager runs the show in wipro.
Pros
Good to start with lot of diversity of work
Cons
No flexible timing & not good managers
Advice to Senior Management
Managers should do think of employees, not only company.
Pros
- Growth is proportional to work.
- Dynamism is welcome.
- Work culture is good enough.
- The work environment is pretty much relaxed.
- For starting out in your career, the company provides immense opportunities and growth potential, but demands effort as well.
Cons
- Salary, compensation is very less, compared to the same offered at other companies
- Too much of politics.
- Unnecessary offers made but never compensated, when it comes to the employees' demand.
- Employees' are treated in the 'Dog and Biscuit' scenario, where they are exploited as per their demands.
Advice to Senior Management
- Kindly make the organization transparent, as well as the organizational processes transparent.
- Reduce the politics, as well as the ubiquitous offers made to the employees, by reducing the way the management treats the employees' demands.
- Make it very clear, and transparent for the employees at the lowest levels.
Pros
Very relaxed environment
very flexible timings
very good exposure to many technologies and training
Cons
pay is extremely low as compared to industry

Cons
1. Home of politics
2. Employees are targeted for their seniors G&O targets
3. Worst HR attitude during recession. Some kind of group emails sayins ..' if you have not done this , then your XXXX component will be deducted '. So harassing attitude
4. Very cheating Senior Management people( i have experience) - Practice Head Level
