    Excellent opportunities to explore
Does this go in Pros or Cons:? No Project Managers, you are responsible for the project from dev to delivery. I put this in pros because it was easy for me to showcase my talents and it was a good experience for me directly working with clients.
They give good experience and training and you are free to leave anytime for a better job.

    Cons

    very bad values and ethics
Beware, managers are not trust worthy
Exit Interviews??? procedure is there, but you need not attend it, managers themselves will close it for you... done.
    No personal life

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pregnancy discrimination is illegal
Teach managers some work ethics and values

I worked at Wipro as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Good interview. One round of technical interview for a client. Interview is driven by client need. I was interviewed for Boston based Tech company. Interview starts with simple java and oops to resume detail and current project detail. It was good.

    Cons

Average pay and work depends on client project. Sometimes have to handle offshore call at night and delegation job. Good for students and start up. I wold not consider for long time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention towards pay hike and less management intervention.

I have been working at Wipro full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Several projects. Large company with global presence. Several projects to be assigned to. Several high profile clients to work with. Experience with large scale software implementations and the opportunity to learn much about Enterprise software.

    Cons

Too much reliance on offshore resources with little or no knowledge. Too much reliance on "on the fly" training. Unqualified offshore and onsite resources being pushed on clients with no regards for long term consequences. Middle management and client partners with no strategic thinking whatsoever. Too much reliance on underselling competition and providing the cheapest resources possible with no emphasis on quality of deliverables. HR for North America located in India and incapable of providing timely information or resolving issues quickly. Too much red tape and impersonal interaction when it comes to HR issues.

I have been working at Wipro full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Can get in easily, less competition, handwork get recognized when in offshore and H1 processing is easy.

    Cons

zero career growth once coming onto onsite. zero salary hike. zero appreciation for anything anybody does.
This is causing most of them in onsite to quit Wipro. Who ever stay back are those who cannot get job any where else. Just imagine working with those kind of people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please fire middle level unnecessary 'Managers' who does nothing.
Example: My team has 3 managers. to manage this team of 3 guys.
Re-organize the structure. Don't retain people in company because they are just there.
Instead give good salary hike to hardworking, smart employees. So they can stay back and make the company grow. Treat the clients nicely, so they can respect the company.
