I worked at Wipro full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good entry level opportunities and very high level opportunities.
The very lowest level of workers and the very highest roles are 5 star.

    Cons

If you are virtually anywhere between a VP and low level manager God help you buddy. Get the resume out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay people's earned bonuses to ensure adequate retention. Fix your culture. Even though I am not there I truly hope you'll improve it. It is bad for the whole world, not just you at your desk.

I have been working at Wipro full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

You may get onsite site opportunity, if your visa is processed.

    Cons

This company does not give you anything unless you constantly behind your manager, HR manager even though you performing well. There is no rigid policy that if you perform you get your due without asking. If you don't ask no one bothers and you won't get anything even if you are in company for several years. Salary is not at par to market level. Wipro has introduced so many process to refrain employee to get promotion or hike like you need to clear so many tests, online trainings, interviews to even get qualified for promotions. Once you clear all these the at final step you need to behind your manager and HR manager for promotion and promotion will again become the consent of managers. Also managers get changed very frequently.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to have good policy for promotions and hike. Middle management needs to go through properly educated.

I worked at Wipro full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Salary was decent for my role

    Cons

When I finally left the company they took me to court for over paying my salary, when they actually underpaid since they screwed up my deductions and benefits.

They were supposed to match my 401k but only pay out quarterly. When I left the company they didn't match my 401k for the last quarter I was employed at Wipro.

Don't take a job with Wipro what ever the cost. You'll end up regretting it in the first month like I did when they deducted $2000 for my payroll for someone else's FHA account, (Never recovered).
