I have been working at Wipro full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Onsite opportunities if you are ready work on any kind of projects without considering location.
    Medical Reimbursement policies
Lot of employees on bench, so you can self-study
If you are billable you will get 100% variable.
If you have good relations with superiors you can work till retirement.

    Cons

Company will relocate you without considering your situation.
Central Workforce management (not location based RMG) will cause lots of frustration once you get released from a project.
Be ready to work under tremendous work pressure.
Rating procedure is not transparent so even if you work hard be ready to get low rated if you have poor relations with manager.
Passing UCF Exam is mandate for staying long term in this company.

I worked at Wipro full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Employee friendly policy, flexible timings, work life balance.

    Cons

Wages are less compared to peers moreover their WASE program screwing engineering graduate career. Its common in wipro that an engineer of 4 years of experience is paid less than their WASE trainee.
Variable pay is the biggest issue in wipro if u r not billable you will lose 100%of ur variable pay.
Manager and HR are showing profits by cutting costs rather than by growing buisness.

If you want to join wipro then please come after acquiring huge salary with a feeling that now you are planning your vacation in wipro.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want wipro to survive then please shut down your WASEprogram. Else make engineer salary equivalent to WASE trainee.
Senior management should see what is happening at lower level and please earn profit by growing buissness rather than cuttting operational cost.

I have been working at Wipro full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Opportunities, Exposure, Lot of projects, New technologies

    Cons

    Sub standard Salary, Exams.

UCF is an exam to clear for everything. if someone has cleared this exams, he or she can get everything in Wipro. Without clearing this exam there is nothing for an employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This is a time to think about market correction for all the existing employees of Wipro. There are not enough resources to run projects in wipro. Salary and UCF are the only two reasons why people are leaving Wipro.
Higher Management should think about this.
