    Pros

    1) good opportunities for fresher's to learn good technologies. 2) Flexible for providing work location to employee's. 3) Some get very good onsite opportunities , purely depends on project demand.

    Cons

    1) Less salary as compared to market standards. 2) UCF (Internal exam) which has to be undertaken by each employee including team leads, which adds to pressure in job, exam does not help in learning. Not clearing this exam means, no hike or alternative action will be taken by HR.

    Advice to Management

Stop UCF as soon as possible, if you really want to cross train your employee's in other technologies, Give them proper training by a certified trainer. This UCF is just adding pressure nothing good in learning. Employee's either mug up answer's or get dump's which is no learning.

    Pros

Good work culture and opportunities in select units Focus on large deals Mature ecosystem Learning opportunities

    Cons

Confused and inconsistent strategy, approach, direction Middle and senior management attrition in last few years Annual increments are often like the government, well, not exactly, its lower

    Advice to Management

Focus on long term growth than short term quarterly earnings. Market sentiment is short term, customer and employee trust is long term. What you pat matters and most at junior levels. Everyone is working for money. Learning. motivation and work culture is critical, but pay scales are important. If you cant pay top notch like captives, at least try to meet or better industry standards

    Pros

Big organization, you will find some awesome and technically sound people there who are working from long time (5 - 10 years). But number of these good people is very less. I have some very good friends from wipro who are very sound in technical aspect and good human being.

    Cons

Keep your manager happy otherwise you can fall in Need improvement rating criteria :). Few people who are there from long time 5 - 10 years, they are running WIPRO from their angle. Managers are not technical person so don't expect that they can rate your performance or can help you anywhere.

    Advice to Management

Improve managers quality who can actually judge performance of employee.

    Pros

Medical bills reimbursement is only benefit you will get.

    Cons

    1. Bus cost to bear 2500 to 3K for long route. 2. Fixed time buses irrespective of jobs. 3. 14% variable payment. 4. No hikes after giving all efforts, you will get maximum 4% hike. 5. Filthy management.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees and focus on their aspirations rather than seeing them as only resources which pulls billing and increase your variable amount of salary.

    Pros

Wipro is a great company to start with , they nurture you, train you and get ready for the real world in a well designated mannerism.

    Cons

Wipro should work more towards slimming the huge hierarchy . There are "so called" managers that add no value to the whole business model but are there just for the sake of it. A better connect between the leadership team and individual consultants/ software engineers is also a must

    Advice to Management

Discuss before the sales team promises
