Wipro hired me as Contractor in California for 6+months at Apple inc. but I released right after 1 month!

I worked at Wipro as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Got client call right after next day after one Skype interview of Wipro guy

    Cons

I had two rounds of Skype interview. One interview was from Wipro and another one from client. During interview session, whatever job responsibilities I was asked by Wipro and client manager never found at the client side. From the beginning I was isolated and not properly assisted by the manager and coordinated by team.
Worst part is no collaboration, everything was fishy, I had to drive out of state for 'immediate join' but never got any project rather than they hired internally someone else later. Manager at client side was never warm and cooperative as well as I never got any email respond regarding my status update. And the result turned into my release just after one month.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

B honest and straight forward! Please Make sure what exactly client site is looking for, what they want, what are their actual job requirements. Please don't hire someone out of state if you don't really don't have good relationships with clients. Hiring candidates for 6+ months and terminating them just after one month is not a joke. Also they need to pay on time and improve their time sheets.

I have been working at Wipro full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    1) Flexible work Timings.
    2) No strict dress code.
    3) Lot of projects so good learning opportunities in different domains, forget about other things and learn for 2-3 years and then switch.

    Cons

    1) Useless middle management, they don't have any technical capability. Only do people management not project management.
    2) Lot of unnecessary hierarchies. There will be many project managers, delivery managers, technical managers and program managers for one project where every one do only headcount tracking and billing tracking.
    3) Onsite salaries are pathetic. To clients they charge hefty amount and engineer get 30-40% only.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1) Clean up the unnecessary middle management, same maintenance cost can be distributed within engineers.
    2) Don't forget its a SOFTWARE SERVICES INDUSTRY, that means give importance software engineers.
