    poor onsite salaries

    Technical Lead (Current Employee)
    Sunnyvale, CA

ProsGood as company to know more about quality / process and onsite opportunities. UCF is something is a headache but useful in keeping you updated about your skills. Its good as a company to work for at most for 4 years.

ConsPoor salaries. At US, they don't give salaries based on location. Their process ensures that you don't get salary you wanted. They will use you like a toilet paper . Salary in my case cannot meet my requirements being at onsite in spite of cost of living is higher in my current location. Their salary in most of the cases does not meet the requirements ( i am not talking about salary you always deserve for your experience and contribution). But if you are recruited at onsite (US), there are chances you get better salary than who came from offshore but it is still less compared other companies. AVOID this company if you are at San Francisco Bay Area. If you are at Wipro offshore and got some opportunity to come to some account in San Francisco Bay Area you are 100% sure that you don't get more than 75K (per annum). Just take the opportunity, come to onsite and join some other company. if you are already at US and planning to join Wipro, don't accept the offer anything less than 100 K

    Sr Project Manager

    Senior Project Manager (Current Employee)
    San Jose, CA

    ProsIndependence, growth opportunities, great culture

ConsSalary is not aligned to experience and criticality

Advice to Senior ManagementAppreciate senior folks who are really adding value. Just by having stubborn policies and not giving employees what they deserve would result in attrition. why not pay folks who are loyal and have proved themselves then paying higher to folks who are recruited from outside.

    Decent company to work for

    Analyst Programmer (Current Employee)
    San Jose, CA

ProsGood salary compared to similar companies like TCS, Infosys.

Since most of their clientele is US, you have the choice of working at lots of different locations

ConsThey don't process green cards for non immigrant employees.

HR managers will show signs of apathy.

Promotions are hard to come by. And salary hikes occur very rarely.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere's a strong need to improve HR policies and make them more employee friendly. It's about time the employee portal is revamped, using it is a big pain.
