I worked at Wireless Facilities full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great Benefits, and competitive pay. Co-workers were great, and performed well as a team. Per Diem was great, and they try move you to other projects when old ones end.

    Cons

Bad leadership usually translates to projects ending before promised. Think twice before relocating for this company. Communication is poor across all levels of management. They tend to hire inexperienced project managers.

I worked at Wireless Facilities full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Was a good place to work early on but progressively worsened.

    Cons

They dragged their feet to reimburse employee expenses always having a reason why they did't go out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should make sure your employees are taken care of as they are the backbone of your company!

    I worked at Wireless Facilities

    Pros

Benefits are decent but expensive. WFI co-workers are reasonable and friendly. Physical work environment is comparable to most other companies in the area.

    Cons

All management (upper, middle, and lower) is very bad at communication. Having LCCI as a "sister company" makes for an uncomfortable and tense work environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on your communication skills - your employees are not the media or competing companies they are your employees and should be treated with respect.

    Pros

WFI allows a peek inside some pretty decent communication companies and is OK when you are in between permanent jobs. WFI give a decent package if you are on W2.

    Cons

When the contract work is up they probably don't have any more work for you even if you are W2 permanent. There is little value to being W2 if you are not going to stay working more than a few months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Making payroll on time is the best way to keep employees happy. Bouncing checks is NEVER ok. In short happy employees make for profitable relationships with tier one telecom companies.
