Low pay and entry level sales

    Sales Representative (Current Employee)
    Vancouver, BC (Canada)

ProsFun work environment and friendly staff and customers. Good entry level sales position. Great opportunity to sharpen closing and negotiation skills.

ConsPoor compensation plan. If you're stuck in a slow location, you're better off looking elsewhere. Very shady business model which relies on reps switching customers to different cell phone providers when it is, most of the time, not in their best interest.

Advice to Senior ManagementYour business model is failing. Competition has nearly hit a saturation point and in order to survive you will have to look into your offerings.

Too much work, not enough pay

    Sales Consultant (Current Employee)
    Vancouver, BC (Canada)

Pros-Teaches you a lot about wireless networks
    -Can have good contests

Cons-Recently changed commission table makes it VERY hard to make more then minimum wage yet you're expected to work as if you made more
-Very shark-like environment for sales, dog eat dog world
-Management only gets picked based on how low cut your shirt is

Advice to Senior ManagementHire more women and respect them. And figure out your commission table. Reward those who work hard, not who lays on their back.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Upper Management only cares about hitting numbers, even if you do fraud....

    District Team Leader (Former Employee)
    Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsGood money, meet lots of people

ConsFraudulent activity is very common in Glentel. Upper Management just turn their backs.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop pretending you care about your people, and actually do it.

Good place to work, excelent commision

    Sales Representative (Current Employee)
    Toronto, ON (Canada)

Prosexcelent copmission, a good sales rep can make 4k every month in commission, seen up to 9k

Consintense competition, not always fair, dont care for costumers, only care about numbers,

Advice to Senior Managementthe only thing that every manager cares at this company is to get the numbers needed to get their bonus, they fall in unfair and unethical behaviors jsut to get the sell
