I have been working at Wonderful Brands full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Overall, this is a very good company to work for. Excellent compensation and benefits as well as great products that anyone would love to endorse.

    Cons

this is a great company to work for, as long as you hold any position other than the sales and merchandising coordinator. It is a thankless position with zero room for advancement in any way.

I worked at Wonderful Brands full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company car, benefits, salary, iPad, very philanthropic company, cares about their employees and the community. Every year there is an awesome National Sales Meeting.

    Cons

You may be micro-managed a bit, but its only because the Retail Supervisors have 8-10 reps to manage, so they need to make sure everyone is doing their job.

    Advice to Management

Making more of an effort to get teams together more often. Since most of the time you are in your territory, you never get to see any of your teammates except for at the National Sales Meeting.

I have been working at Wonderful Brands full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Company car and gas card.

    Cons

The company micro manages you every minute of your day.. How long it takes you to drive from location to location. There is no balance you are required to do an 8 hour day and then All your weekly paperwork has to be done on your own time. It could take 2 hours but if you cut your day 15 minutes it's a problem. They have a huge turn over rate. The supervisors are robots with no people skills and if you make a complaint or suggestion you are done. They say they have an open door policy but nothing is kept in confidence and no one keeps their word. STAY AWAY this company could make their numbers if they would hire new managers especially in the South East teams.

    Advice to Management

Take some communication classes and treat your reps and supervisors with respect and not stab them in the back.

I have been working at Wonderful Brands full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Company car, Benefits, Products, Giving Back Program

    Cons

Low morale due to heavy handiness of upper management and it rolls down to retail reps. Reps must do as told--do not think outside the box. Very oppressive, especially in certain parts of the country.

    Advice to Management

Get it together between sales and merchandising divisions. Back your merchandisers. This could be a great program. Monitor and train managers better so they are proactive, not reactive. Believe in your employees.
