    A Good Place to Work

Current Employee - Environmental Technician  in  Atlanta, GA
Current Employee - Environmental Technician in Atlanta, GA

    Pros

Caring management, lots of benefits and perks.A variety of Clients and locations throughout the country. Great holidays adequate pay.

    Cons

Upper management needs to administer all salaries and oversee all raises and bonuses. All employees should have access to the company's intra-net, email, and cell phone services.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Uniformly administer salaries of hourly personnel and make these salaries public within the company. So a technician in Maine can see what one in Georgia is making.

    Pros

Good recognition in the company for a job well done. Freedom to execute projects in the best way for the client.

    Cons

Pay is OK. Need to lower costs so more of the fee can be given to employees in terms of higher salary rather than overhead.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need more incentive systems to retain good employees

Current Employee - Engineer  in  Providence, RI
Current Employee - Engineer in Providence, RI

    Pros

The company is very employee oriented. It is a overall great place to work with good benefits and a fair amount of work in not so good economic times. Always employee oriented and always doing out of office things to better the work environment. There is a very nice office and lots of great food in the area.

    Cons

Engineering can be very stressful at times, and the company takes into consideration all the benefits of being an employee when deciding salary ranges. Jobs are typically under budgeted which brings more stress to the project and makes for a rush sort of product.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers could do a better job of keeping on top the overall project budget. There are never enough hours budgeted to complete projects. Efficiency is lacking in all aspects and a lot of hours are spent on repeat work.

Current Employee - Engineer in Bangor, ME

    Pros

Life / Work balance. They are very supportive and the push you to try harder. There is lots of room for growth and advancement. Everyone here likes what they do. The big plus is that they try to not limit you to one role. You can pick how and where you grow into the company. Want to learn something new with in the company? Just ask and they will make it happen.

    Cons

It's consulting, so it is all about billiable hours. Benefits package is mediocre at best. How good you do is greatly dependent on who is in charge of you. Hours can get tough, but this is true for any consulting firm.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Being Billable is overrated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire managers based off of performance not politics.
