Woodside Homes Reviews
Pros – Close knit company with a family atmosphere. They are very understanding of individuality and want the ultimate success for their employees.
Cons – It was a tough market
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – Small company feel
You do the job of 3 people so you will quickly learn many parts of the industry that larger companies do not offer you
Cons – Working for Woodside Homes is like working in the Wild West. Most of the office staff is rude and unprofessional. Everyone points the finger when something is wrong instead of fixing an issue.
They will work you to death and drown you in paperwork because the company won't invest in hiring staff or spending the money to get their act together. Coming to work is like playing Russian Roulette - you never know what you are going to get.
In general most all employees hate their jobs and it's obvious.
Sales agents have to put up with a ridiculous amount of stress and take the fall for issues that aren't their fault.
You will learn quickly how dysfunctional this company is which trickles down to disappointed buyers who regret buying from Woodside.
Advice to Senior Management – If you want to be a big builder, run the company like a big builder. If you want to be a small builder, run the company
like a small builder. If you want to go out of business, keep the status quo
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
Pros – Woodside allows their employees a fair amount of independence in the management of their prospective communities. Management exhibits an easy going demeanor.
Cons – Management fails to explore all aspects when there is any conflict, whether interpersonal or with issues that arise within the department.
Advice to Senior Management – Provide leadership rather than management.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
