Advice to Senior Management
be more responsive to workers and less demand to do things that cant be propely done
Pros
With the combination of personal drive and desire to want a happy, secured and successful life, you can safely entrust your time and energy in their palms to give you a career that offers that fulfillment, with a cultivated attitude.
Cons
Don't expect to not get your hands dirty! Be patient with yourself. It will take time and lots of repetitive work to progress and show management your growth capabilities.
Advice to Senior Management
As a manager try to understand employees personal situations if affecting work performance. If they can talk it out while working it can release their stresses and then do a more effective job.
Pros
Professional development
Improvement of technical skills. Lot of opportunities to work on different projects. Worked on different areas.
Cons
Too many level of management
Advice to Senior Management
Provide more opportunities for career advancement. Communicate changes openly. Otherwise people will rely on gossip.
Pros
Customer interactions at its best. The pay is fine. Most of my store managers are friendly and always there to lend a hand and listen to complaints from staff members.
Cons
Dealing with upset and rude customers. Sometimes, they don't provide enough staff members to get through the day. Sometimes, there's so much work to do, and there's so little time to do it. But I guess it differs from store to store.
Advice to Senior Management
Hire more staff members. Hire competent managers.
Pros
Good working Environment

Very Fair
Cons
Tireless work
Boring and Repetitive
Advice to Senior Management

Advice to Senior Management
stop squeezing us till we dried.
Pros
Fantastic career opportunities. Challenging work with great people. Once you work here, you can move around to different parts of the business, different divisions and different locations.

Pros
The best reason to work for Woolworths is really a double edge sword. It really depends on who is you boss and what part of the business you are in. I am in IT and I enjoy the opportunity that I have been given to work with some of the bleeding edge technology in the company. It also helps that my direct management at the moment are fairly decent.
Cons
I have in the past had real bastards of line managers, one in particular issued me with a warning because I had come into work at 8am instead of my normal 7am. I was not required to start work until 9am. A lot of line managers in Woolworths have the personality of a door knob.
Advice to Senior Management
Take a look at how some of the line managers are treating their staff.
