I worked at Work Options Group
Pros – exciting, competitive, fun, challenging, never dull, fair & balanced, nice staff, believes in promoting from within, small business
Cons – small business, required to wear many hats, lots of hours, never dull, challenging, business was sold to competitor a few years ago
Advice to Senior Management – There was a great thing at Work Options Group, the CEO and owner was amazing and I was blessed to get to know and learn from her.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

I have been working at Work Options Group
Pros – Private company, understanding of work/life concerns for working families. Flexible work schedules and the ability to set your own hours, work remotely and balance family and life. Great office location, not far from Boulder or Denver and modern conveniences and shopping are near by. Solid IT systems and decent support; modern technology and systems that have been recently upgraded keep the technical side of the company growing. SalesLogix systems and platform will allow for continued development of the internal system. A lot of the younger management has grown into their roles, so at the entry level there is decent opportunity for upward mobility.
Cons – Not a lot of upward mobility and lack of training opportunities and experienced management. Mentoring, Career Development and Personal Skills development are all seriously lacking. There are a LOT of days where we run around with our "hair on fire" because there is too much knowledge in one or two heads that doesn't always get shared. Also, senior management is very much controlling of the company and micro-manages from the Sr. most levels. There are way too many folks reporting to each executive which drags down productivity at all levels. Seems like there is too much control in too little hands.
Advice to Senior Management – Put in managers that have experience working with entry-level and experienced staff alike. There is a career-stall stage that many of the folks are in because there is not enough strategic direction. It's a small company that's people are truely it's most IMPORTANT asset, but they sometimes feel limited because the daily tasks, the daily fire drills, keep them plodding along in the same role.
