    Pros

Best job ever. I love the collaborative workplace. There is a strong sense of community and that we are doing something good for our customers. Workday always does the right thing not matter what. I have been here 5 years and can't imagine being anywhere else.

    Cons

Hard to move around unless working for a corporate office in Pleasanton, San Francisco, Chicago etc.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up. A 401k match would be great. However I have been overwhelmed with Workdays generosity.

    Pros

Great Software and very well designed.

    Cons

Top of the range pricing with little room to negotiate. Architecture pushed down the throats of all prospects whether they are interested in it or not. Makes you look arrogant. Lack of business professionals in pre sales leads to little understanding of the prospects requirements. This leads to high level sales pitches and you are encouraged not to go into any detail in the sales cycle. Over ambitious sales targets in Europe leading to high turnover in sale reps.

    Advice to Management

Don't sell like Americans in Europe.

    Pros

The core of Workday is collaboration not competition. Everyone is interested in seeing the company succeed and by extension seeing team members succeed. There isn't as much of a 'what's in it for me' mentality when approaching others for assistance.

    Cons

Because the company is growing so quickly processes can sometimes lag behind the needs and it can be difficult to identify the proper resources.

    Advice to Management

Would give you all 5s if there was 401k matching. That is the biggest drawback in the overall package.

    Pros

The product is best-in-class and the rest of the landscape knows it. Most people who work here are genuinely good people who work hard but understand the need for work/life balance.

    Cons

The rest of the market is spending a ton to catch up. This means lots of pressure to perform and some people "changing roles" when they don't.

    Advice to Management

Don't compare our products to our competitor's and say "good enough" when we are better than the standard they have set. There are still a lot of improvements that can be made, and we need to continue to define the standard rather than just try and beat the status quo.

    Pros

Great Company to Work For - they look for ways to engage employees. Dave Duffield promotes excellent culture in his companies. We work hard and play hard together. Terrific Leadership: thought leadership is good, but the president and the CEO differ in their perspectives on employees Great Products- we have visionary people leading us on technology and applications Seasoned Sales force - We've hired some of the most creative and intelligent people around

    Cons

I work in excess of 80 hours each week, and am still behind I get top performance reviews, but I haven't had a raise in 3 years; I now have individual contributors making more money than I do Company promotes collaboration, but then implements incentive policies designed to hinder it Still very much a man's world. Very few women in senior leadership roles, and often feels like a "boys club"
