Worldwide is a very good place to work. The work environment is pretty stress free , but they do expect quality results.

Program Management (Former Employee)

I worked at WorldWide Language Resources full-time for more than 3 years

ProsHave a team spirit mentality. Upper management provides valuable guidance and does not go off the deep end when issues arrive.

ConsWWLR does expect quality work. Timelines are expected to be met. Primarily government contracts. When the government decides to terminate a contract there may be a chance of employee cut backs.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to be proactive in ensuring employees feel they are being taken care of by ensuring business development activities remain robust.

Very informative experience.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at WorldWide Language Resources

ProsGood pay, good treatment and support.

ConsThe managers need more training.
Why would you hire linguists managers who do not speak any language other than English?
Some of the managers are bad.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou need to test the linguists better, I worked with some they did not read or write the language they were tasked to do!!!!!! maybe that is why you lost some of your contracts.
