Current Employee – been working at Worldlynx full-time for more than a year
Pros – Worked with company when they first opened, however the management worked well together even from the begining.
Fare Salary - Better then standard hourly wage, with a significant commission structure in place
Employee Events - Holiday Dinners etc
Cons – Scheduling Issue's at the location I worked at
Had issue's where customer complaints could be placed and answered.

Former Employee – worked at Worldlynx full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – benefits are okay
close to home, good hours
Cons – no opportunities to advance within the company whatsoever, company claims to promote from within but this is not true
no performance reviews, no raises and compromised commission structure
management does not care about or support employees
no training
no incentives (no discounts, no perks, do not allow all staff to attend special events)
no employee recognition beyond the sales team level
customer complaints are not taken seriously in most cases
very negative working environment
high turnover rate
low employee morale
Advice to Senior Management – your staff is unhappy. 5 years of time spent with this company, no training, no opportunities to grow and develop, no raise, nothing!

Former Employee – worked at Worldlynx full-time for more than a year
Pros – Subsidized Cell Phone - $10 / month and a new phone every 4 months (you must return the previous one)
Cons – -Takes forever to qualify for benefits
-Will say anything in the interview to get you started, and delay forever when following through on them (if they do at all)
- Moving up in the company from the sales floor is next to impossible
- Always min. wage plus commission, which is not even half of what Corporate Bell makes.
- Upper management appears to never have sold anything themselves; Sales strategy comes from something they call the Worldlynx Way, which is a robotic checklist that you must follow in order to complete every sale (aka no sales rep personalities)
- Insists upon charging service fees for everything, (well over top of what Corporate Bell would)
- Pushes staff to sell Customer Care Plans that often times are well in excess of the monthly rate that Corporate Bell would charge.
-Any complaints, whether from Employees or Customers, are ignored or pushed aside until they no longer care.
Advice to Senior Management – Take into account some advice from the sales floor along with your advice from the boardroom and maybe morale and sales would both increase. Otherwise sales can remain marginal, and staff will come and go in month to month increments.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Former Employee – worked at Worldlynx full-time
Pros – -benefits paid by company when you're a manager
-demo line and new phone every few months
-discount on Bell residential products (offered by Bell, not Worldlynx)
Cons – -high targets when the industry isn't doing well
-not rewarded for thinking out of the box
-you're never thanked for your hard work
-no room to grow
-higher management have never been on the sales floor
Advice to Senior Management – Respect and reward your tenured staff

Current Employee – been working at Worldlynx
Pros – New phone every 3-4 Months
Flexible Scheduling
Free Cell Phone Plan
Base Plus Commission Pay
Cons – Non-existent Incentive Structure
No Increase in Pay for "Senior" Employees
Favors the Stick Instead of the Carrot
Little Performance Rewards
Puts the Pressure of Marketing on Retail Staff
Laughably High Targets
Poor Communication Between Senior Managment and Retail Staff
Low Traffic is Not Retail Staff's Fault, it's the Marketing Departments.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your employees and ask us ways to improve morale. We are unhappy, forcing us to say that we are always stupendious is NOT a way to improve morale. Treat long-term employees better through pay raises. An employee who has been working for you guys for three+ years should NOT be making the same as a new hire. Reward emplyees that have high SWAF or make target. I have yet to recieve some recognition when I have high SWAF, but I have tons of emails yelling at me when I don't.
Stop wasting your time on Intercept. It doesn't freaking work. The only success it has had is toward the deforestation of the Amazon. You have a marketing department, they should be doing marketing at bus stops and billboards, not retail staff.
Make senior managment more approachable. Seing a senior manager less than six times in one year is a little ridiculous.

Current Employee – been working at Worldlynx
Pros – Free cell phone
free cell phone plan
discounts on home services (tv, internet, home phone)
Cons – way too many demands
they expect us to be in charge or marketing
no praise if you have done a good job, just critizied if you are doing poorly
made to feel very small by upper managment
high sales goals in a store that is known to be very slow
cutting hours but still hireing new people
Advice to Senior Management – take notice that your employees are not happy about how things run. they are just not happy. stop hireing new staff, focus on the staff that has put in years with this company.
