Current Employee – been working at Worldwide Express full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – I have worked at Worldwide for 3 years and it is the only job that I have truly liked. My background is Retail Management and there is no comparison in my professional and personal growth since I have taken this position. I can tell you first hand that you are definitely rewarded for hard work and results. I have personally had a hand in helping our office triple in growth and this past year at our national sales conference my co-worker and I both won $10,000. Although the money is great, feeling valued and appreciated means much more to me and I cannot say enough great things about the owner of our office as well as my co-workers.
Cons – This is definitely not a job to take if you're thinking you're going to be an overnight success. It has taken a lot of long hours and hard work to get where I am in my career but it has all been worth it.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to host trainings that allow different offices to talk about their best practices. I have found this extremely beneficial.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Worldwide Express full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Started here several years ago and have never been happier with where my career is. This is a great place to get your foot in the door and get some real field experience. My superiors have always been accessible when needed and have always offered continued training through my career.
Cons – Be expected to put in as much as you want to get back. You may have to work some long hours at times, but the return pays off in the end.

Current Employee – been working at Worldwide Express full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Training, training, training. From day one and still today - 8 years later - I have received the highest level of training and development. I started as an Account Executive 8 years ago and have been promoted 5 times in that time. Currently, I am a Regional Sales Manager running a team of 7 sales reps and 5 customer service reps. The high level of responsibility and the corresponding expectations drive me to compete and succeed. The company culture is exceptional and the recognition received for your accomplishments is very motivating.
Cons – This is not the clock in clock out environment that some people want. You will work hard and sometimes the hours can be long.

Current Employee – been working at Worldwide Express full-time for more than a year
Pros – There is a lot to take in but my manager seems to explain everything he can to me.
The other salespeople in the office help me with all my questions/needs.
It's competitive but a fun place to work.
The others in the office drive me.
They give me reports of my numbers every week so I can see how I'm doing.
Cons – I don't have any complaints.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep the training as an emphasis.

Current Employee – been working at Worldwide Express full-time for more than a year
Pros – Relatively high base salary for a no-experience sales job, training in aggressive sales techniques, great commission potential, lots of contests nationally and within franchise group, lavish conference in Florida every year, lots of opportunity for moving up within the growing company.
Cons – If you are not an assertive go-getter then this job is difficult bordering on impossible. But if you are then you will not likely find a better fit for your first sales job,
Advice to Senior Management – Don't ever get rid of the open bar at conference.

Current Employee – been working at Worldwide Express
Pros – I held a couple different jobs after college before finding Worldwide Express. I have worked at Worldwide Express for over 6 years now and I have definitely found my career. WWE is a large organization but with a small company feel because it is franchise owned. WWE provides a lot of opportunity to grow and advance in your career. I have moved forward in my career path and my income every year that I have been a part of this company. I love the people I work with and we all want to continue advancing our careers. We have a great atmosphere and very rewarding jobs. The training that WWE offers is the best I have ever been a part of and it truly puts you in position for success. You have to be dedicated and motivated and all of the tools will be given to you to put yourself on the right path. This is an amazing company to work for and the rewards are great.
Cons – You have to be willing to put a lot of time and dedication into your job to advance in your career, but it is definitely worth it. There are obstacles that have to be overcome and challenges that you will face, but if you can keep a positive attitude and continue to work hard, you will move right past them. If you are not willing to dedicate yourself and pride yourself on the little wins along the way, then this may not be the right opportunity for you.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to lead by example and train and coach along the way. Continue to provide opportunity for advancement and reward those that earn it. A little acknowledgement can go a long way. Keep doing what you are doing and we will continue to grow to be more successful each year.

Current Employee – been working at Worldwide Express
Pros – Worldwide Express is a great place to enter the business world! It has all the perks of a large national company (corporate trainings, conferences, awards, and recognition) with a small office feel (opportunities for advancement).
As a salesperson, I have developed and maintained a successful book of business in one of the most competitive, fast-paced business environments; Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. In just 18 short months, I have been promoted twice, doubled my compensation, and hope to be considered for management.
Due to a very success business model, changes in logistics industry, and a strong senior management the company is growing exponentially. It's a place where many individuals and teams are going to achieve incredible professional and financial success.
Cons – Worldwide Express offers a very fast paced sales environment and thorough customer service focus. If you're not looking to put your career first it's probably not the place for you.
The franchise model has many upsides, however your local franchise owner or management team determines the direction of the office. That being said, you ultimately control your own destiny and if you're willing to get up, work hard, and put your career and customers first you'll succeed.
Advice to Senior Management – Even though Worldwide Express is a franchised institution, continue to unify the system through corporate sponsored trainings, events, and meetings. Implement a lead sharing program and corporate recruiting to advance the system even faster. Push under performing markets to adopt successful practices in achieving and maintaining head count as well as customer and revenue growth.
