I have been working at Worldwide Express full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Worldwide Express is a place that a hard working individual can really excel. I have been at Worldwide Express for almost four years and have been able to carve out a strong career path. There is a lot of opportunity within the company to advance quickly, earn high compensation and challenge yourself.

    Cons

This job is for career-minded individuals. If someone is looking for a one year stepping stone to another job, then Worldwide Express is not the right opportunity for them. The growth curve for compensation really starts to spike up in year two and on.

I have been working at Worldwide Express full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1) Great opportunity for training and growth within the company. 2) Always an opportunity to increase your paycheck. 3) Awesome atmosphere! I love my co workers and all the outings we do together.

    Cons

Its competitive. There's a lot of opportunity to win contests and make money but you definitely have to work for it. Don't expect to breeze through and come out ahead.

    Pros

The pros are limited but ..Great corporate training program. Some freedom. Solid stepping stone to a real sales career in the future.

    Cons

Extremely high turnover. No management. Saturated market. You only have one thing to sell so there's no up selling current customers. Prices rarely beat FedEx prices. No market to sell to. Obscene amount of driving that's not payed for. Unprofessional company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust your employees more, give some incentives to sell. All franchises are different this one just happened to be the worst.

I have been working at Worldwide Express full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

My professional & personal development at WWE has been staggering. I came in as an unfocused talent & in 2 years was transformed into a polished leader in charge of managing one of the largest markets in the nation. When you compare a Worldwide Express Account Exec to an Outside Sales Rep from any other company, the Worldwide guy will be noticeably stronger from cold call to close.

    Cons

This job is HARD WORK. This is not the cushy pharmaceutical sales job every freshly minted college grad fantasizes about. This is a highly competitive, pavement pounding, grind. If you're soft or distracted this job will grind you down, but if you commit to being successful here, than you will be.

This will either be the worst $40k job you've ever had, or the best six figure job you've ever had.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue creating new roles & positions within the company to accommodate our on going growth.

    Pros

Worldwide Express has great company culture and work atmosphere. Most of the people who work here are young, Type A personalities.

    Cons

This is the job where you work hard, and you will get rewarded. The annual company conference makes all of the hard work work it.

I worked at Worldwide Express part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Paid lunch. Decent location in the loop, near the Merch Mart.

    Cons

No job security. One day your fine, the next you could be fired. No trust in employees. Always looking over your shoulder. Terrible work environment. Cut throat atmosphere in the office. And frankly, the work itself was just awful and not stimulating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I mean, I'd say have a little more trust in employees and give them some room to operate. I get it's sales so not performing needs to be addressed, but until that happens let people work.

I have been working at Worldwide Express full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Very hard to sell, even if you know your shipping. They say they go after air shipping, but when they show companies price they give them ground price. We are in kansas and most people don't need to use air because ground is so sufficient.

    Cons

There are so many competitors that its hard to gain business. Once you have a meeting, most companies will look at price and choose another one. The prices and software arnt that beneficial to the actual company. It almost feels like your lying to them. I would never switch or use there product in my own business.
