    Pros

Salary and bonus were decent. Benefits were very good. Mast people were nice to work with.

    Cons

Terrible morale. Executive management doesn't care about employees. CEO is disingenuous at best, and a flat out liar at worst. No recognition for a job well done for 99.9% of employees.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your people. You have some good ones who deserve to be heard & rewarded.

    Pros

Good benefits, competitive salary, stock purchase plan

    Cons

The culture is strange and not very inclusive to new employees. You'll hear a lot about process improvement and innovation but the processes utilized are antiquated. Can you say paper purchase orders? It's not at all what I was lead to believe during the interview. Shame on me for not digging deeper. Senior leadership seems to want innovation and progress, however there is a layer just below CEO and COO (including VPs and Directors) that are interested in maintaining their empires. new ideas are not encouraged. If you play the office politics and get in with the right people (the power brokers), you can do well. If not, well it's going to be a short stay.

    Advice to Management

Plenty of advice is given during the semi annual employee survey. Apply some it.

    Pros

GREAT environment to work in Flexible / understanding supervisors and managers

    Cons

Uncertainty in direction of the company Difficult to advance in some departments - managers have been employed here for decades

    Advice to Management

Communicate honestly with employees on short and long-term plans. Without this communication, it's tough to stick around at a job when you're not sure of your company's future

    Pros

Lots of young educated talent ready to make an impact. Infrastructure is on the right path but a work in progress. Great salary and benefits. Lots of work.

    Cons

Like any company it depends on which department and people you work with. Overall, this company is like any other. There are a couple of departments that cannot seem to get it together and it has a lot to do with the individuals and not the company or department.

    Advice to Management

If someone is not able to perform to the level expected of their position move them into a position that they can function in and hire someone that can perform at the expected level. It will curtail tension within the department and optimize work flow.

    Pros

    - Has some great products esp on the foot and ankle side - Its an entry point into the medical device industry

    Cons

    - Weak product portfolio on the joint side - 100% commission sales jobs (can be +/- but with Wright chances are you start with a territory that has near ZERO volume) - Very poor company matching 401K - lack of development opportunities

    Pros

    Great loacation and working conditions.

    Cons

Micro manage, not allowed to "think" for yourself.

    Advice to Management

Allow engineering to be more involved in descision making in departmement. Manager and Director will not allow engineers to be engineers! They handle all the decisions and your left to put together the pieces.

    Pros

The best reasons to work at Wright Medical Technology are a fulfilling mission, great coworkers, a beautiful campus and spectacular benefits.

    Cons

A few of the downsides of working at Wright Medical Group are a lack of career advancement and quite a few managers that are in positions for which they are not qualified or they aren't very good at, especially within the IT group.

    Advice to Management

Overall the company is being run extremely well considering the DOJ ordeal and all of the high-level departures as of late. We can do a better job as a whole by doing a better job of putting the correct people in the appropriate positions. One such area that is really suffering is the IT group (especially the top few layers). Morale is terrible and there is no vision or leadership.
