Pros
colleagues are extremely professional and it feels like a team
Cons
top down driven management style
Pros
There was a high quality of scientific research and development. Good communication with in the department and between sections that produced quality data.
Cons
We were a strong midsized company that attracted the attention of a struggling giant company who bought us and shut down most of our department.
Pros
Good work/life balance. Decent pay. Nice facilities, parking, work environment. Exposure to a wealth of industry experience through current employees.
Cons
Current employees are in all of the power positions, and not leaving anytime soon. Limited growth potential. Just got bought by Pfizer
Advice to Senior Management
Promote the on site employees to give them a reason to stay. Replace the employees that left. Morale is low and in need of repair.

Cons
Senior management was incompetent, they did not communicate well on a normal day, let alone during the Pfizer buyout.
Advice to Senior Management
Promote people who actually deserve it and who are competent.
Pros
A very collaborative environment that included a detailed performance review process. Management was open to suggestions and feedback. Great health insurance and vacation benefits.
