Pros
Great Compnay car
Nce size territories
Cons
Voicemails never stop
Training eats up weekends
Pros
compensation, benefits, perks, exercise room, cafeteria
Cons
respect for people, bureaucracy, lack of transparency at the top
Pros
- Genuinely concerned about developing products for public health vs. making profit
- Excellent benefits
- Practiced core values
- Collaborative work environment
- Competent employees
Cons
- Wyeth no longer exists
- Wyeth was acquired by a company with completely opposite culture and values (sales and profit oriented, non-collaborative and competitive work environment, core values not practiced, jobs outsourced regardless of risk and consequences, jobs and manufacturing operations sent overseas, etc.)
- Sad to see an excellent 100+ year old company dessimated
Advice to Senior Management
- Should not have sold company.
Pros
Wyeth was leading the industry on cutting edge processes, technology, and manufacturing facilities. It seemed that we were continuously ahead of the curve.
Cons
Wyeth could be a very difficult place to work and promotions and raises were completely bias and unfair across the board (unless you were a Sr. Director and up).
Advice to Senior Management
The old boys club has been disbanded and spread throughout the rest of the pharma industry in key roles
Pros
People at Wyeth were very professional at most levels especially mid-management. Most of the people at Wyeth were very proud to be a part of the organization. Compensation was above average.
Cons
Some of the Top Brass were not very talented. They seem to be in the position for all the wrong reasons.
Advice to Senior Management
Management should be objective when evaluating they're own. Don't put people in position because they're are part of the good old boys network
Pros
great co-workers. Could learn new technologies, good work/life balance, good pay and benefits.
Cons
incompetent management, many hidden agendas, egos, politics.
Advice to Senior Management
None since Pfizer gobbled them up.
Pros
Great Benefits, Good Base Salary
Cons
Company sold, and very few Wyeth employees retained in Oncology
Advice to Senior Management
Was a good company
Pros

Cons
Lack of respect by physicians and office staff
Pros
Beautiful location and offices, great commute, competitive salary and benefits package
Cons
Small senior management "club" environment.
Pros
colleagues are extremely professional and it feels like a team
Cons
top down driven management style
