    Pros

Very professional, well managed company. Management demonstrates respect for employees. Opportunities available for advancement. Benefits compare well with other companies.

    Cons

Cost cutting measures have hit hard as Wyle works to stay competitive. Like any government contractor, most positions are tied to a contract with a fixed length.

    Advice to Management

Don't cut too far. There's a point where there are not sufficient resources to get the job done. This is especially tough on indirect staff.

    Pros

Plenty of current software projects to work on with a steady flow of incoming business. I like the people I work with.

    Cons

Sometimes communication in a large company can be tough. Some people can get away with doing subpar work while relying on others to carry the load.

    Advice to Management

Check in with employees a little more often to get reactions on how things are going within the team. Not just relying on people to come to them.

    Pros

    Descent pay, easy boring job

    Cons

Felt like i was back in high school, unfriendly nasty coworkers. Made racist remarks, HR department needs training. A decent place to WORK but not to GROW. People don't move up unless someone retires.

    Advice to Management

Train HR department, hold events to meet Staff

    Pros

Flexible hours, worked daily with user community and was able to observe first hand software changes in aircraft for the betterment of the user.

    Cons

Terrible Management, workers are disposable and were told this daily. New "benefit" leave/sick leave was a terrible combination and not a plus to the employee.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating all employees like plug and play assets. We were hired due to our industry connections and skills in the aircraft.

    I worked at Wyle

    Pros

Very structured, organized, process-driven, connected to multiple industries, overall reputable company

    Cons

Promotes innovative thinking but does not support implementation of such ideals. Also, management does not support employees in need of assistance if it appears to be problematic.

    Advice to Management

Provide a mentally healthy work environment by means of strong leadership qualities (not just management of people).

    Pros

Supportive of employees in general, not simply beholden to the client when doing contract work. Great benefits, strong HR department.

    Cons

Program management was lacking in terms of future scenarios, other opportunities within the company. Be careful to understand if positions you're discussing are 'current' or 'contingent'.

    Advice to Management

Be more proactive at the corporate level at thinking about long-term employee retention. Program Managers may not be able to sufficiently carry the company banner.

    Pros

Paid me on time every month. Generally left me alone at the work site.

    Cons

Let government employees run day-to-day activities. Tasks performed had little correlation to contract. Employees are disposable at whims of government.

    Advice to Management

Need training in contract management and execution. Contract is binding agreement to be fulfilled, not just a means to get employees on a job site to then do whatever government wishes.

    Pros

Good workforce that has sacrificed over the years. Aerospace and CAS groups contain real professionals.

    Cons

Favoritism is the way of life and folks are allowed to HIDE behind the talents of others and take credit. Will try and sabotage you if they do not like you. Questionable practices are widely known and folks are beginning to speak out...

    Advice to Management

Get some real leaders...time to be honest and hold folks accountable....

    Pros

The building is situated in such a manner that employees have either a single or shared office. This is a nice change from cube land

    Cons

Management is not qualified to do entry-level work let alone manage and lead their employees. This is nepotism at its worse.

    Advice to Management

    Get some real training
