Former Employee – worked at Wyndham Worldwide full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great resort Good location, its a timeshare so you have to deal with all the sleazy sales reps who work there.
Cons – Management does not listen to needs and advice of employees. Sales staff are sleazy and think they are the most important thing there
Advice to Senior Management – Get new management

Current Employee – been working at Wyndham Worldwide
Pros – Somewhat flexible when it comes to asking for time off, great people you're working with and a good work environment
Cons – It is tough in the winter season when it comes to making money, however management knows you by name so that makes it somewhat of a family environment.

Pros – The people! In a larger professional busines environment you come across people that you would choose to be associated with in or outside of work. I see the "Count On Me!" service value at work every day!
Cons – This is an incredibly fast paced environment that challenges associates to work smart, be innovative, and provide value. These challenges are not for everyone.

- to produce goals is not easy but not too hard either. You have to be always mentally ready
Advice to Senior Management – I believe the management team is hard working and caring about the sales reps around them. The more money you make the more money the make.

Current Employee – been working at Wyndham Worldwide
Pros – I began in the call center. I took every training course that they would allow me to take. Trust me! There are plenty. Wyndham has its own online "school" where you can take self taught classes on almost anything. I've learned so much especially how to use Power Point, Word, and Excel all for free! I took the time to ask questions of senior leaders on how to move up within the organization. I developed a plan and stuck with it. After applying to multiple positions, I was given the opportunity to become an Admin for a senior staff member at the Orlando corporate office.
There are opportunities galore at Wyndham. You have to take charge of your own career. No one is just going around handing out better positions. If you are a current employee and you hate your current position, do something about it!
Cons – Las Vegas, Orlando, and Parsippany are the only locations that I interact with on a corporate basis. I know we have many hotels, resorts, sales centers, and call centers throughout the USA so if you need a transfer to a place like Nashville, the only opportunity might be at a resort or sales center. This is a sales oriented business. It's an adjustment to learn the business, and there is a lot to learn. Some people might not want to be involved with a sales driven business.
Advice to Senior Management – We receive many emails from our CEO, Steve. We are updated constantly about new resorts, hotels, business deals, and benefits to the employee. All of that is greatly appreciated. Check up on progress to make sure the managers and leaders do not become stale in their roles. There is nothing worse than a weak leader.

Former Employee – worked at Wyndham Worldwide
Pros – The company supports a balanced work-life schedule. Time off for necessary medical and family situations is rarely questioned. If necessary, remote work is usually and option.
The company has invested significant resources into understanding their customers and has made improvements in reaction to their findings.
Cons – Middle management was not effective in supporting personal and career growth. Employees are likely to be trapped in their current role because their immediate supervisor is not skilled in the ways of people development.
The size of the company makes it difficult for true professional relationships to develop; with so many levels of leadership, the strategic decision makers are too far removed from the worker bees making it all happen.
Advice to Senior Management – This company would benefit from a change towards recognizing its employees are the number 1 asset. Investing properly in the workforce will lead to better performance. Bounds of talent is going untapped because the leadership has not identified this as critical to success.
