Wyndham Worldwide Reviews
-
Pros
Wyndham's senior leadership is trying to make the company a good place to work while attempting to instill an atmosphere of personal commitment to service. Behind the scenes the quality of the Finance and HR Benefits teams is very good to excellent.
Cons
The travel industry is hard hit by the global financial crisis. Layoffs and re-structurings quietly continue as the company attempts to re-align itself with the new reality. The sudden disappearance of respected people has led to fear and uncertainty in the ranks.
Advice to Senior Management
Reassure the troops. Take a hard look at the talent you have and find places where good people can be used more productively before letting them go. Consider replacing your weak links with stronger people even if they do not appear to be a perfect fit initially.
