I have been working at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Work hard to increase employee satisfaction. Lots of training opportunities and funding for MBA etc. Work life balance very nice.

    Cons

Toxic politics. Leadership changes every 2-3 years. Strategic direction constantly changes, lack of focus on current objectives

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employees realize that a reorg is coming every January, people collect their bonus in Feb and move on, until this is addressed, Wyndham will continue to lose good people

    Pros

Great company with good pay and decent benefits.

    Cons

Most management has been built on favoritism. These managers won't leave company because they know they would never make it elsewhere. FL employment is "at will" so if you rub management wrong way be prepared to have a difficult stay while they nitpick and build up a case to get rid of you or just make you so miserable you leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work with your employees not against them. Stop the favoritism and don't harass your employees.

    Pros

Very well organized company. The hiring process took a while but once I was hired, the orientation and training was asap. The entire department is like a well oiled machine, everything runs smoothly. A lot of teamwork and they always make sure they express how well you are doing. Everyone is very helpful; and just overall happy to be at work. Managers are always available to help and very friendly.

The benefits are great as well, and not as pricey as other companies. There are alot of growth opportunities, activities, in-house clinic, gym, and clubs to join. They truly converted the workplace into a resort for employees, which makes us more efficient and happy to work our hardest.

    Cons

Honestly, I can't think of anything negative to say.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the great work and we can see why this company is so successful.

    Pros

This is a worldwide company with many opportunities and many many good work associates. The company has extensive on-line training resources. They seek to grow and to do well in "Great Places to Work". I also think they are wisely positioning for the future - investing in technology and systems.

    Cons

Be aware that their "Wyntegrity" line is their system for heading off litigation. There is no real interest in integrity beyond maintaining appearances.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Walk the talk guys. "Speed of Trust" etc... Make it real. Not just window dressing.

    I worked at Wyndham Worldwide

    Pros

Meeting guest and having life long friendships with some former co-workers.

    Cons

Leadership is not there. They need to hire more employees that will come in and do their job and not just collect a paycheck.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the employees that are hired before their 90 day's are up when they show up for work and do not do their job.
