Former Employee – worked at Wynn Resorts full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – This is a great company to work for. Great work environment and the tools put in place to help you with your development is something I never experienced before. The company truly does their best to set you up for success. You just have to put forth the effort.
Cons – Their are some strong personalities you have to deal with. Once you prove yourself you may or may not be accepted by these people. Job performance is not the key factor in building a career. It is more about relationships.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Wynn Resorts part-time for more than 3 years
Pros – People are friendly

Good food for lunch.

Former Employee – worked at Wynn Resorts full-time for more than a year
Pros – Beautiful properties, sense of pride for where you work (on the surface), good EDR, okay benefits, limited overtime
Cons – Lots of unethical marketing practices, very focused on physical appearance of employees (even back of house), no growth opportunities, abusive and harassing middle management, intimidating and unstable upper management
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your employees when they have serious concerns regarding ethics or reporting illegal practices - you'll have less turnover

Current Employee – been working at Wynn Resorts part-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Best established casino resort in Las Vegas. Very well managed. High end property that gives you access to the wealthiest guests visiting Las Vegas.
Cons – Extremely formal. Very difficult to get a full time status that will give you access to the full benefits package.
Advice to Senior Management – Greater communication with hourlies would be beneficial.

Current Employee – been working at Wynn Resorts full-time for less than a year
Pros – -If you're "Steady Extra" or "On Call" you tend to get at least 32 hours a week (give or take 50 days). Not guaranteed obviously.
-Great people, everyone is kind and amiable.
-Great healthy menu at the EDR
-Great tipping environment to work in, whether it's restaurants, front services etc. etc.
Cons – -Highest money making resort on the strip, but has the lowest salaries. About 30-40 cents less than MGM, Caesars, Sands etc. etc. etc.
-No paid sick days
-No "flex" days
-Very sensitive department managers (depends which: eg Security)
-The Housekeeping departments are the most corrupted departments in the hotel. High despotism, discrimination and they will jump seniority if need be.
-In tipping environments Managers get a cut of tips.
Advice to Senior Management – Just be fair, listen to your employees concerns.

Current Employee – been working at Wynn Resorts full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Small enough to make a difference.
Cons – Very conservative in its views.
Advice to Senior Management – Make sure compensation is equivalent or more than the current national averages. This is a five-star resort and to hire and keep the best of the best would and should require competitive salaries.

Current Employee – been working at Wynn Resorts full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Beautiful resort, parking for employees isn't too horrible.
I like what I do and somehow manage to work around all the impossible paperwork and constantly changing policies to get my job done.
Cons – Uniforms in some departments are extraordinarily uncomfortable (actually painful) and make your job more difficult. No one seems to notice much less care. Management is all about keeping their job they do not care about their employees. Management shows up late, leaves early, takes long lunches, but there is no one monitoring them, ever. No sick days, they are completely inflexible with time off. Benefits have gotten worse and worse. Vision benefits are horrible, ironic? There is absolutely no advancement opportunities in most departments.
Advice to Senior Management – You need to stop worrying about being everyone's fake friend and start looking out for the best interest of the people that make your job easier. Work harder or at least as hard as your employees and you will increase moral immensely. I loved my job and then every day watching my bosses play favorites, walk in late, constantly put out fires they created has worn me down. I want to love my job again.

Former Employee – worked at Wynn Resorts full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – The Company always focused on the staff. They were fully aware that without a great team, there was no Company so they made extra effort to see to the needs of it's employees.
Cons – It was very hard work but when you work under an umbrella of excellence, it is what it is. Expectations are high.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to listen to your staff for they are a great resource in aiding the continued growth of the hotel.
