    Positive Outlook

I have been working at XPEM full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you can prove your claim, management will make it happen (or have you make it happen!). Senior management (CEO, CMO, etc.) very approachable. Company strategies and practices are very data-focused, not a lot of "gut feeling" decisions. Paid overtime is in abundance for hourly employees.

    Cons

Sales staff has high turnover due to seasonal business, but other positions (tech, management, marketing, etc.) are stable. Company exists a lot of hours out of salary positions.

    Advice to Management

Continue your current efforts to increase transparency and trust among all levels of staff.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at XPEM full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great at hiring talented people. Occasionally an effort was made in the direction of fun, e.g., themed Fridays, potlucks, bagels on a Friday morning.

    Cons

Terrible at retaining talented people. Low rate of pay, astonishingly disorganized management, high turnover, internet and technology rules that approach paranoia, negative attitude toward using vacation and sick time.

    Advice to Management

If the owners can't get on the same page, the company won't survive, period.
