    Pros

Flexible time, good managers that seem to care. Can work from home depending on your location.

    Cons

Benefits get worse each year. First raise in five years but the average was only 2-3%. Outdated systems

    Advice to Management

Get rid of Ursula & the board members that support her. She comes across as not caring about employees and continues to transfer jobs to Manila and Guatemala. No one in the field has anything good to say about her leadership style. Some facilities in the US are outdated, dirty and run down. Put some money back into your facilities and employees. Don't spend it all on acquisitions & stock options for the top 1%

    Pros

Good benefits. Good co-workers, but everyone is too busy to assist with questions, including management.

    Cons

Too big where the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. So many processes that do not serve the company or productivity. Too many layers of mgmt. and incredible stress. Unrealistic expectations

    Advice to Management

Co. provides NO work/life balance. Unrealistic expectations. Too many meetings/trainings and not enough time to do our jobs

    Pros

Telecommuting opportunities. Good people at working level. Flexibility and empowerment to make business decisions.

    Cons

No or low pay raises for years. Mid level management who lack experience and skillsets. Top heavy executive level. Broken processes. Lack of accountability for deliverables. Non existent automation tools. Disregard for employee and customer. Internal red tape stagnates progress and success.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of Ursula and 3 levels below her. They are ruining the company, the established culture and the existing customer base. Never put a sales person in charge of operations. Get in touch on what is really going on at the lower levels. Your managers have no idea. Internal process issues are killing the business. Stop outsourcing, it is costing millions in rework. Walk the talk when referring to company core values. Get serious about retaining top talent.

    Cons

CEO Bad acquisitions Too much turnover Low Pay for Hard Work No employee loyalty Benefits ACS

    Advice to Management

Bring in a new CEO who will work hard for growth and be a champion of employees and employees. CEO needs to fully understand the history of this company and embrace change without threatening employees.

    Pros

Great helpful coworkers and familial atmosphere, offices instead of cubes, good managers, lots of opportunities to learn new technologies, awesome work life balance

    Cons

Upper management very disconnected with engineering, core products are not exciting, low pay, lack of overall faith in direction of company, huge push for offshore hiring instead of hiring local, brain drain

    Advice to Management

Listen to engineers instead of only issuing marching orders, increase pay and benefits, hire good people locally, make Xerox a place people want to come work

    Pros

Ranked #1 in the industry. Great story to tell, brand recognition.

    Cons

No security in keeping your accounts. Commissions are extremely low versus competitors. Salaries for the same exact positions are extremely out of alignment. Currently implementing a vertical marketing structure that is the exact opposite of any vertical marketing structure I have ever seen.

    Advice to Management

Pay everyone fairly. Let the reps keep their accounts or force everyone to turn their accounts over to the correct vertical and put a stop to this crazy sense of being in limbo. Be fair! Too much disruption in the sales force.

    Pros

Career opportunities, a great iconic brand, good pay.

    Cons

Xerox is struggling with the transition from a hardware provider to a services provider. The culture in this company is broken due to poor acquisitions and subsequent in-fighting at senior levels. The focus has gone from building customers for life to chasing customers for this quarter, or month, who are then forgotten. Poor execution is resulting in loss of major contracts and lawsuits. People development, management development, benefits are gone or radically reduced. There have been significant layoffs and continual reorganizations.

    Advice to Management

Fumbling the future, again? Senior management needs to understand that being tough does not equate to business results. The company needs a new identity and all employees need to be pulling in the same direction. Employees need to be developed and rewarded. Customers need to be valued and grown. Management candidates at all levels need to be properly screened and developed. This is a long-game strategy and unfortunately, Xerox seems filled with people at the senior levels who only seem interested in what it means for them today.

    Pros

Xerox had great product to sell. Their printers and digital presses are excellent machines. The base pay is generally very good. Most of the people that work at Xerox have been there for 20 or more years so there is a lot of experience to draw from. The sales training is exhaustive but very good. A great place to get trained and then find a better job.

    Cons

Meetings, meetings, meetings, and more meetings. Outdated internal systems. Territories that make no sense! Xerox likes to sell great products at ridiculously inflated prices. Wanna pay cash? One price. Want to lease? a different price! Its extremely frustrating that customers can by the same Xerox products from several sources including agents and re-sellers. Ya that's right, you will be selling a product and an agent will show up and offer a cheaper price on the exact same product. Do you like to work all night to update their antiquated CRM system, to do proposals, and other work?. You have to because they don't leave you enough time to sell during the day because of MEETINGS!

    Advice to Management

Update your systems. Cut down on meetings. Make pricing that's understandable. reduce channels!
