29% of the CEO
Ursula M. Burns
Pros – Management is so incompetent that you can basically get away with murder (not sure if this is a pro)
Cons – Management is incompetent
no raise in 8 years (company wide for former ACS employees)
20% pay cut after 14 year
Advice to Senior Management – Consider listening to your employees, there's a reason the best ones are leaving in droves.
Pros – Decent pay, ample opportunity for theoretical bonuses.
Cons – Stressful work, outdated technology, seemingly inept technical staff.
Advice to Senior Management – Get with the times.
Pros – The Xerox name will open many doors because people are curious about what ever became of it. Because the corporation is so big, a lot of mediocre and under-performers can and do hide in middle management legacy positions.
Cons – Since the latest CEO, the advertising has not been very effective in communicating to the public (and to other major corporations within strategic verticals) the truly amazing things that Xerox is now offering. Middle management within the company has no lateral communication or understanding of the full corporate offering, and is of no help in directing employees to Xerox corporate solutions for their customer's needs and desires.
Advice to Senior Management – Care more for your customer's needs than your own when breaking into new markets. Try to understand customer's motivations and needs. Put more 'feet on the street' and learn how many millions in possible revenue your are not even trying to discover from your existing customers.
Pros – High Basic Salary
Cons – Low Allowance
Health card not good
Advice to Senior Management – Need to evaluate benefits.
Pros – Great smart coworkers. Flexible hours and decent benefits. Convenient location in suburbs. Opportunity for patenting ideas supported by excellent intellectual property framework.
Cons – No upward mobility, too many managers and not enough working engineers or technicians. Reliance on temporary contract help and no long term commitment to engineering. Way too top heavy with senior management. So much Multitasking that you are behind before you start something new.
Advice to Senior Management – People are not given opportunity to grow their careers because senior management wants to keep good engineers and technicians in their established roles.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – Ability to work from home and be with family. Good online tools and training. Nice coworkers.
Cons – No raises, no bonuses, furloughs and lies from upper mgmt. Complaints to Sr management lands on deaf ears. Most concerned w the bottom line at the expense of their US employees. Upper management works US employees so hard and no rewards.
Advice to Senior Management – Xerox HR Services is going to collapse unless you invest in your US employees.
Pros – There are some really great people that work here. Pretty flexible schedules, and the ability to control your workday.
Cons – Internal processes are absolutely terrible. Too many agents and partners saturating the market. Too many people have been there for a long time and are very set in their ways. Training was a joke.
Pros – schedule but even then you get burnt out
Cons – when they bought sprint center in charlotte no supervisor knew what was going on.
Advice to Senior Management – they won't listen
Pros – work envirnoment gr8 along managment
us culture alongwith discipline is gr8
Cons – salary hikes improper ,shud b improved
more friendly work ethics & envirnoment.
