I have been working at Xerox full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

You can get a lot of overtime.

    Cons

Low pay if you only work 40 hrs and the co-workers and work atmosphere are very ghetto or low class, unprofessional and inconsiderate to others taking calls. No real career opportunity or advancement. They try to promote that you can move up quickly to be a supervisor or senior agent or trainer however you will still be making the same amount of money. No one makes more than $11-12/hr and they only start you off at $10. You will not be compensated for your advancement

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to have agents cut down on outside conversations while on the production floor. Customers complain that there's too much background noise and it sounds like a party. Also need to hire people with proper English speaking and pronunciation skills and an overall more professional demeanor and attitude. Better compensation for those who want to advance. No one makes more than $11-12.50/hr and they only start you off at $10.

I worked at Xerox full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I liked the non-stop flow of work and team spirit to get the job done.

    Cons

Depending on the project the pay rate is lower than the industry standard. Be sure to ask about pay increases before accepting the job offer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be sure to treat all employees the same across the country. Some sites work harder and have way better work ethic but are not compensated for their efforts or even acknowledged. The favorites game has no place in a professional work setting. Employees should be rewarded for their efforts and talents, but not for skewed numbers.

I worked at Xerox full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

I like that everyone wants to help you from a management stand point. I also enjoy when team moral is high everyone is involved.

    Cons

Too many issues with management not knowing the options available to decrease issues with attrition and not taking responsibility for the issue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at who you are keeping versus who you are pushing out .

I have been working at Xerox

    Pros

Good company, good benefits, full-time hours, good people

    Cons

Nearing three months on active company payroll with zero access to customer systems, just watching other people take phone calls - not even a training splitter headset to hear live calls.
