I worked at Xerox full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Job where you work remote. I had a great supervisor.
Cons – Commission plan was horrible. Had a department that would look for ways to reduce sales reps commissions.
Advice to Senior Management – Take care of your good employees.

I have been working at Xerox full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – lots of small projects which act as standalone entities. you can learn a lot the "hard" way.
Cons – Centralized IT - Security and facilities isn't very efficient - lean past point of break for productivity and employee moral.
Advice to Senior Management – Decide what your values are and create a culture that honors that across all projects - Many of the employees feel that they cannot be productive and the only goal at mind is to do the least possible to stay out of trouble. Pushing your staff year after year is causing an environment that makes it difficult to see the bigger picture. try to encourage good behavior.

I worked at Xerox as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – It was no good about it.
Cons – The uppermanagement was terrible. They were inconsistent and they had rodent popolation at the job. It was horrible. They had old computers most of us and the system was always down.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

I have been working at Xerox full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Corporate culture is about taking care of people both inside the company and outside by taking care of customers and delivering quality to both.
Resources for taking care of issues internally & externally are defined
Coworkers are professional and many are genuine team players
Market brand is well known and regarded as quality brand
Management is well trained and usually thoughtful of opportunities and issues
Autonomy and flexibility in managing priorites and time
Cons – Resources both for clients and internally for employees have been spread VERY thin and have dwindled considerably
employees do all of their own IT support via hotline help
Benefits and compensation have been cut and raises are nonexistent even when performance is there.
Transition from shrinking HW business to Services business is still causing reduction in force
"streamlined" Manufacturing and Remanufacturing of products causes reliability problems
Advice to Senior Management – Invest in pay raises for performing employees
Start re-investing in resources locally
